It seems the Xbox Series X|S controller is available to use on everything but the kitchen sink these days, and now Apple will soon be updating its iOS to support the controller and a wide range of its devices.
As reported by The Verge, the iOS 14.5 update - which is available to beta testers - enables the use of Xbox Series X controllers on a variety of iPhones and iPads. Apple previously said it would be adding support for the controllers in a coming update, and we're assuming it'll be rolled out publicly relatively soon.
There's no word on when the feature will be available to everyone just yet, but with Xbox Cloud Gaming coming to Apple devices this Spring, it's definitely a welcome addition for the devices.

Do we have a date for xcloud on Apple yet? I’ve been waiting lol
Will be fine for Diablo Immortal when it arrives in Q3 or Q4.
I wonder if it will work with AppleArcade games too. I’m looking for a decent controller for it and I already own an Xbox controller
