$50 for a Wired Controller? That's kinda 🌈dumb🌈
The "Fighting Stick" for $199.99 looks interesting. It seems like the case hinges open to access the components and the artwork is replaceable. Digging the button layout too.
That fight stick is gorgeous.
Tangent, but I really wish Xbox added support for any controller that works on Android or Windows.
Can you imagine if Microsoft said you can use your PS4 controller, that Sony won't let anyone use on PS5, on Xbox Series X?
It would be one hell of a case for players to change platforms with minimal investment.
@HotGoomba
Agreed! It should be $40 at most.
And it doesn’t even have the new d-pad.
Hopefully better than the Hori Xbox styled controller I have for my PS4. No headset port. The body creeks. And the finish looks Godawful.
@Tharsman Great point! Tweet Phil Spencer!
WOWWW. WOW. WOOOOW!!
I am so impressed and psyched and excited about the NECKSET! Should be ideal for hearing aids users like myself! Can't wait to see reviews! I really hope it also works on Xbox 1/1S/1X but I kind of understand if that isn't possible. Excited! So excited! Can't wait to see reviews and preorder!!!!
Edit: OOOH OOH It is compatible with Xbox One say those beautiful darlings at Hori!!! ❤️😘❤️😘
Happity happity!
@Tharsman I think Sony wouldn't allow that.
@sanderev They dont have a say on it, just like they dont have a say on Steam supporting PS4 controllers either. Dual Shock 4 controllers sync via bluetooth, and that is all that is needed.
PS4 controllers are already supported by XCloud. If you are crafty, you can use Console Streaming on a phone with a Dual Shock controller, to play your XBox One right now (you don't have to look at the phone, Console Streaming will still render everything to the TV.)
@HotGoomba
That's not just any wired controller. It's the Fighting Commander, perfect for fighters, brawlers and platformers. I still have my original white FC and it still works.
@gingataisen Yeah, but $50. Maybe $40? It's not even that it looks bad, it looks like it works well for those games, BUT I'VE SEEN SIMILAR CONTROLLERS FOR HALF THE COST.
These look Hori-ble...
@gingataisen Same here on the X1 white FC. That's a great pad and I'll gladly pay the extra $10 for the mic support this new one has. Can't wait to test the new dpad!
