First-Look Xbox Series X Gameplay Is Coming Next Week, Confirms Microsoft

Update: It sounds like this event will feature third-party games only according to a tweet from GM of Xbox Games Marketing Aaron Greenberg, who revealed the following:

"So pumped to see our partners showing us a first look at Xbox Series X gameplay next week! Also know the Xbox Game Studios teams are hard at work on some big summer plans. More details soon!"

Additionally, Ubisoft has now confirmed that Assassin's Creed Valhalla gameplay will be unveiled during the event.

Original Story: Microsoft has confirmed that Xbox Series X gameplay will be revealed next week as part of an Inside Xbox show on Thursday, May 7 at 8am PT/ 4pm GMT /5pm CEST. This is being teased as "first-look Xbox Series X gameplay," so we're hoping we'll see some major game reveals during the event.

The announcement was made in a tweet by the official Xbox account, excitedly stating: "you want to see games for the Xbox Series X? We want to show you games for the Xbox Series X."

Nothing has been confirmed as to what we'll see next week, but if rumours are to believed, a reboot of Fable might be on the cards. And of course, we might also be getting actual gameplay footage of Halo Infinite, Senua's Saga: Hellblade II, and the newly-announced Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

What are you hoping to see from next week's Inside Xbox event? Let us know in the comments.
