Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 1

Welcome to the first edition of What Are You Playing here at the newly-relaunched Pure Xbox! We thought we'd follow Nintendo Life and Push Square in making this a weekly feature, so get involved in the comments and let us know which games you'll be playing over the next couple of days.

I've recently downloaded a few games because of Xbox Game Pass Quests that I've really enjoyed, so I think I'll be spending plenty of time with Tekken 7 and A Plague Tale: Innocence this weekend. I'd like to put a bit more time into Fortnite: Battle Royale given the recent helicopters update, and me and my fiancée are eager to get back to our long-running co-op Master League on eFootball PES 2020 as well.

So I did want to have a go at Ori and the Will of the Wisps this weekend, but with the recent outbreak my Xbox One S is now officially stranded at the office, meaning I won't get to play it. So whilst this is slightly going against the brand, I'm going to have to settle for some DOOM 64 action my Switch until all this blows over. Give 'em hell!

I've been spending a lot of time with Halo: The Master Chief Collection lately, so this weekend will be more of the same. Probably more, in fact, considering Double XP is now up for grabs. When I'm not in this game, I think I'll likely be wrapping up the LEGO Expansion in Forza Horizon 4. It's about time I start Ori and the Will of the Wisps as well. There's really no excuse when the game is readily available on Xbox Game Pass. That's it for me this weekend.
