Rematch: Release Date, Release Times & Crossplay Details On Xbox Game Pass

We've seen quite a lot of brand-new releases arrive on Xbox Game Pass this week, and arguably the biggest of all is Sloclap's Rematch - a new fusion of Rocket League and actual football that's bound to prove popular on the service.

So, with the Xbox Game Pass release rapidly approaching, we thought we'd put together a quick guide to all the release dates, release times and important crossplay details you need to know ahead of Rematch's official release on Thursday.

Rematch Release Date On Xbox Game Pass

Rematch's release date on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass is June 19th, 2025.

The early access version has been available since Monday for those who opted to pay for the Pro or Elite editions.

Rematch's release time on Xbox Game Pass is 3am PT / 6am ET / 11am BST on June 19th.

Does Rematch Support Crossplay?

The developers behind Rematch were hoping to include crossplay from day one, but unfortunately they've run into a last-minute issue. As a result, the game will be adding crossplay support at some point in the near future instead.

They've said it'll be a "matter of weeks" until crossplay is added into Rematch across all platforms.

"We know many of you are eager to compete against friends regardless of platform. Crossplay between platforms is a top priority for us, and we did our best efforts to include crossplay functionality at launch, but we’re a small team and it’s a complex topic, with a lot of details to get right, along with platform compliance, and we have not been able to complete it for launch. We are actively working on this and while crossplay won’t be activated in the coming days, it will be a matter of weeks. We’re really sorry we couldn’t deliver this day one, and we will update as soon as we have a precise ETA on the feature."

Rematch Preload For Xbox & PC

Rematch is available to preload right now on Xbox if you've either bought the game or you're an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate member. Alternatively, you can use the Xbox mobile app to download the game remotely, even if you don't technically have access to it yet!

Rematch Download Size For Xbox & PC

Rematch's download size is approximately 6GB on Xbox and PC, so it won't take up much space regardless of what device you're playing on.
