Marathon has pleasantly surprised us with its contracts and their fluidity since the server slam, and NuCaloric’s line of contracts called “Data Reconstruction” are no exception.
However, they can catch you out if you're not careful, which is why this guide is here to give you an idea of what you will be coming up against in this contract line, starting with Part 1.
To start, this contract takes place on the Perimeter map, starting in the South Relay point of interest. Once here, you are going to want to make your way over to the building to the south, and enter through this door that has you facing southwest.
Once through the door, proceed forward, then turn left into the storage room. Inside, you will find your first Sparkleaf bioprinter to scan.
After this, make your way out the way you came in, and head north until you reach this building.
Inside, you will find your second Sparkleaf bioprinter, meaning you are clear to scan and move on to overflow.
For the next two bioprinters, make your way to overflow and enter the main building.
You will find one fungal Bioprinter on the northern side of the main building, and one in the south-western part of the building.
Starting with the northern area, enter through the first door you see, then make your ascent up the boxes and crates that lead to the upper level.
Once upstairs, make your way to the northernmost part of the building, and before you reach the northernmost room, you should find a shelf, on top of which rests your first fungal bioprinter.
After scanning, make your way over to the south western area of the building until you reach the south western-most room, next to one of the doors leading into the room will be your next fungal bioprinter.
Moving on to the last step of this contract, you are going to want to make your way over to North Relay and download the agriculture report.
Upon arrival, make your way to the white main building with the large 'NuCaloric' text on it, and make your way in through the doors on the side with the aforementioned text.
While it may seem simple enough to just download the data, there is actually a secret step after you walk up to the terminal.
Upon interacting with the terminal, you will be prompted to restore power to the terminal. To do so, you will need to make your way downstairs by either going down the staircase in the building (which is through the vent in the right-hand corner of the room) or making your way back outside and jumping down a level from the balcony.
Once you have gone downstairs, the panel to interact with will be in the room directly below the terminal above.
After interacting with the control panel, make your ascent back toward the terminal room, and then finally interact with the terminal to download the report and complete the contract.
You can now make your way over to an exfil and take any loot you find with you. Happy running!
