Topic: Forza 5 Impressions?

I'm still on the fence on whether to get an XBox One or PS4. I like the idea of the One being available with a copy of Titanfall or Forza 5. I'm not a big multiplayer guy, so I'm more interested in the Forza bundle. How is the game? Is there enough of a single player campaign to keep me busy for awhile? The game looks amazing, but I haven't heard much about the rest of the package. Any help is welcome.

On a side note, inFAMOUS Second Son also has my attention from the PS4 side of things. I'm just not sure it's my type of game.

I like Forza 5. There are a lot of folks out there hating on the game, but I genuinely enjoy it. There's a LOT of gameplay in there in the form of different cars and events, and if you do have any friends on your friends list who play, their gameplay style is recreated in your non-multiplayer races in the form of a "Drivatar." This feature alone makes it really enjoyable for me, as there are a couple of my friends who play from time to time who race entirely differently to any AI I've seen - and they're replicated really well.

There are a few rough edges with regards to the menu system and it has to be said that while there are a few track layouts per location, there aren't a great deal of locations to race at, which makes it feel more repetitive than it should at times. Still very much worth playing though, I'd say. Good fun!

Thanks for the quick reply!  I just can't pull the trigger on either bundle for some reason.  I'm hoping they may end up doing some kind of bundle with Kinect Sports Rivals because that game has been on my radar for awhile.  Forza looks amazing, but I'm just not sure if I'll end up getting bored too soon.

On a side note, what about Ryse?  It didn't get the best review scores (7 from Pure XBox I believe), but it always catches my attention.

I enjoyed Ryse, personally. There's not a great deal to do outside of the single-player campaign that really appealed to me, but the campaign itself was great fun. I reckon it's worth the asking price, myself.

Ryse is a fairly repetitive affair but MY GOD is it ever beautiful. It's hard to recommend it at its current $60 price tag, but if it ever drops in price you should snag it, just to show it off to your friends
