Topic: Xbox series x stopped working

@Aldo2710 mine is an advance return. They are shipping one out and then I ship mine back within 14 days of receiving it .They took card details to cover £474 which they won't take a payment unless they don't get the other one back.

There seems to be a few others over on the MS thread with the X turning off or being bricked..

This could just be the people representing the 3% of expected electronic failure though...

Same thing happened to me, finished installing updates and started to install assassin's creed valhalla and It shut itself down and has now stopped working with the disk stuck inside

You need a Paper clip to remove your disk if its stuck inside at the bottom of the console there's a pinhole by the Bluray/disk tray, insert a paperclip all the way in and it will push your disk out

I'm returning my system back to the store and get my money back I'll wait until this issue is fixed
Its not game issue, I've installed on my Xbox X and it works fine

@opacheco1967 I managed to get the disc out, with no help from Microsoft support. Doing the same, playing it on my xbox x. A guy on here told me where the hole was. I sent my console back Thurs. Was told by the Microsoft support to do that. They sent me a repair ticket and said that once they get it back have a look at it, if can't fix, then they would send a new one. But I've found out by other guys on here with the same problem, that they are sending out replacement consoles before you send yours back, then you send yours back in the same box. Not happy I didn't get the same offer

@Aldo2710 Doesn't look like UPS have the package yet. I still get info saying Shipper has created a label., UPS has not received the package. I'm not holding my breath for a Tuesday delivery like the info originally stated.

@KarlX ive had the same since friday aswell but i think its just during the week they work so really nothing will happen till after today thts just my guess anyway the did take money out my bank but never even said they where going to do that

@KarlX just looked at the ups tracking and mine is now saying in transit be here on thursday

Update. Strangely it's just been scanned and is scheduled for Thursday. Maybe they saw my post on here 🤣

@Aldo2710 Bit naughty of them to do that. My online bank account still shows it as pending. I expect it will stay like that til they get the faulty one back.
