@Banjo

Thanks for your input man and of good luck with your FF run.

Now while I don’t want to spoil to much of the South Park game I think its kind of cool how The Stick of Truth feels a little bit like a Gameboy or Nintendo DS game in some sense. Like a Nintendo game from the late 19900 or 2005 (when Gameboy & Nintendo Ds games where all range). But with like updated, modern game mechanics, graphics and sounds.

Guess that the development of the *Stick of Truth started somewhere around 2012 maybe (at least the concept ) . Are your FF run going good btw man? Are you new to the FF franchise?

Also is it not like most in recent years that we have seen FF on Xbox and Microsoft hardware? I guess that to see many games in the FF franchise is kind of new right ?

*I have not personally played a South Park game before the Stick of Truth.

From another perspective I guess it can be said that it is interesting that the first game, The Stick of Truth was developed by Obsidian Entertainment (the makers of Fallout 76, OuterWorlds etc). While the next game was made by Ubisoft San Francisco.

Just finished high on life 2. Definitely didn’t capture that same feeling the first game did for me, but it was still solid. A little glitchy at times, but the the jokes, characters, and gameplay were all there. 7.5/10. My only gripe is that it’s a full priced game, would’ve been better at $50 imo.

@Tasuki yea, but I unsubbed a while ago. Didn’t feel like resubbing and glad I didn’t. With other games I was playing like RE it took me over a month to get it completed.

@Yousef- I played IV on DS back in the day and now playing on Xbox, as part of my Pixel Remaster playthrough. I started VII on PC, but will beat the classic and the remakes on Xbox.

Forza Horizon 2 (Series X) Wonderful game over all and I can see why so many people regard it as one of the best Forza Horizon games. You can definitely see that this game set the ground work going forward and made the FH games what they are today. Granted I can only really compare this one to 3 since thats the only other one I really put time into, but still 2 just felt like a smaller version of 3.

I loved the scenery and having the festival in Northern Italy and Southern France was a good choice. Going from vineyards and farmland to small Italian villages was just awesome and very beautiful. Granted 3 had more variety with beaches and forests but given what they were working with when Forza Horizon 2 was in development it really is a beautiful country.

So now my time in Italy and France is over, I may go back and grab a few more achievements or something when I feel like visiting Italy and France again. For now though,I will be taking a break from Forza Horizon series so that way I am ready for 6 when that comes out and I am not burnt out on the series.

Definitely worth a play if you have never played it and want to experience some of the other Horizon festivals.

South Park Factual But Whole - Review Fun RPG Turn - comedy Turn based game

So what did I think about the Factual But Whole? Well I think that the Factual But Whole* was like a beast of a game in many many ways, Why? Well I think in part because South Park the Factual But Whole have quite (many) moving parts. So to speak And well the Snow Drop engine is big part of what enables that .

Like in addition to the writing, South Park the Factual but Whole has a story and the game includes quite (vast) combat options . As with many modern games I think you should likely have some time on your hands before you dig into the game because of the sometimes quite elaborate combat and exploration options in it.

The combat in South the Factual but Whole is like a battlefield where you move your character over a series of squares and yes in many cases ”choose” your ”attacks” to win over the enemy (the enemies which is like very shifting btw ).

Its kind of cool because it feels like every combat in the game matters. And basically every move you do in every combat matters to (which I guess may not always be the case in games, turn based or not) That said, I think it's fair to say that the game has some slow moments so you need to have some patience as well if you want to enjoy the game.

Beside the combat encounters in the Factual but Whole you also like in the Stick of Truth, have the town of South Park to explore, and (hopefully) *win”. There are side quests, things to buy and characters to meet.

I would say if anything the combat and turn based nature of the game grow and become more elaborate the longer you play it which is I think a reason you should have at least some time on your hands before you play the Factual But Whole.
It’s like again very cool imo how you can choose your main characters super powers throughout the game . It it like that, you can dynamically choose your powers which, like imo, are beyond cool in many cases (and not something I think you can do in any turn based game). Guess it’s just one thing that the modern version of Snow Drop enables.

Because beside the human made stuff like the writing and artwork the The Facutal but Whole tick thanks to the Ubisoft developed Snow Drop engine.

Now the it’s a bit hard to understand what have happened to Snow Drop because Ubisoft have not provided many updates about the game engine as of late. Further the Facutal but Whole is actually not a very a long game but quite short tbh. Even if we have the town of South Park to explore in it. The [b] Facutal but Whole [/] is like the Stick of truth also very true to South Park.

I understand that many may have for a long time wanted to see a remake of Simpsons hit & Run for
While Iam not sure South Park the *Factual but Whole can maybe be the one of the closet thing we got towards that kind of game/remake (guess that is not to say little).

South Park the Facutal but Whole also have some DLC available if anyone wants to dig into deeper into the game.

Coffee Talk - Nice coffee

Right I recently played and well beated Coffee Talk which is like 80% graphical novel and 20% coffee simulator.

Now what did I think about **Coffee Talk** While I don’t want to spoil too much of the game I did think that Coffee Talk was a (good) coffee simulator. Not sure how much its thanks to the Unity game engine or like how much Unity have improved on consoles during the last few years. But here in a game released in 2020 Unity shines as Coffee talk runs very, very well.

Most things runs very, very smoothly. Coffe Talk also features a very nice soundtrack which like imo sync almost perfectly with the nice graphics in the game. The animation and audio sync most have been very much impossible during the PS3 era for exemple. So I think Coffee Talk is such a nice exemple of how modern tech most have made it possible for indi games to look and run so well. (and have maybe made it possible to make them like 1000 times cheaper if not more)

Now I could of course very much recommend Coffee Talk if you want to enjoy a nice game and have a few hours to spare. The dialog and writing in Coffee Talk was very cool and well "enjoyable". In coffee talk you play as a barista whose job it is bascailly to make coffee or ohter drinks that your consumers,, or friends are ordning. While you listen to their stories about things.,

How advanced did I think the coffee simulator part of Cofffee Talk was? Maybe not very but I did it think it served its purpose very well I honestly dont know or have played many games which features a *coffee simulator. In Coffee Talk you bascailly play as a barista whose job it is to serve your costumers coffee and you choose the ingredients for your costumers.

Mafia: The Old Country. Another solid entry to the series. I really enjoyed the story of this one though the gameplay mechanics are desirable. The enemies were damn bullet sponges unless you hit in them in the head. As far as the story went I really enjoyed it.
