Topic: What did you play this weekend

Well not to much gaming for me this weekend.  Just played a bit of Heroes of Might and Magic V on the PC yesterday.  Great game though.  And the fact that I got it from GameFly for free was nice too. 

Mostly  Guacamelee, I want to finish it since Injustice will take up most of my time  starting tomorrow.

Had a pretty good weekend hope you all had the same.  Managed to get in alot of game time most of it was with my son.  Played some Heroes of Might and Magic III and Heroes of Might and Magic V with him as well as a bit of Nintendo Land on the Wii U.  For myself I managed to play a bit of World of Warcraft and Mad World for the Wii.

For next week I am hoping to pick up a copy of Injustice on the Wii U (that way I dont have to deal with the 360's horrible Dpad) so hopefully that will be what I am playing next weekend.

So how did your weekend go?

I played Injustice for PS3 and mixed in a little Lego City for 3DS on Sunday.

@Gamer83:  How is that Lego City compared to the Wii U one?

Don't have a Wii U so I can't say from personal experience but judging from reviews, the Wii U version is a lot better. I actually enjoy the 3DS game but it does have some serious flaws. The loading times and camera being my two biggest gripes.

Well this weekend, I played Sacred Citadel (for review), God Mode (for review), and played about with Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen (as part of a review of a video capture device) - but I've ordered NHL 13 in order to restore a bit of normality to proceedings.

Still not even touched Fire Emblem yet!

Nothing but World of Warcraft for me.

Minecraft & Fire Emblem Awakening only. Since there's no school today, maybe some more of those + Halo 4 or Xenoblade on my Wii (some online servers went down so now the light on it is red instead of yellow. Makes the system seem more abandoned now).

I STILL haven't fired up Fire Emblem yet. It's sat in my 3DS, waiting to be loaded up! I ended up playing DJ Hero 2 and NHL 13 all weekend.

Both of which, I'm terrible at.

Yeah I am in the same boat.  The only rhythm game I can do decent at is Elite Beat Agents for the DS.  I have Guitar Hero Metallica on the 360 but I mainly bought that cause it was Metallica.  Lol

Do it. The only games that have been successful at getting me to play something other than Minecraft lately have been that & Bioshock Infinite. The graphics are generally good, & the gameplay + story are great so far. Lots of free DLC, plus some paid DLC (but I probably won't get much of that). You won't regret it. Try casual difficulty if your strategies are a bit rusty or you're doing a harder difficulty than the easiest one (hard is so punishing. I can't imagine legendary).

I'm lining it up for THIS weekend, don't you worry. Hockey on the TV, Fire Emblem on the 3DS...two (or three, in fact) screen action!

Great choice. I'm going to be vague, but Fire Emblem Awakening is surprising. You'll see what I mean. Rarely have I ever seen a plot twist like in Awakening, so prepare for an awesome storyline. If you haven't already, play Resident Evil: Revelations on your 3DS. Console caliber game on a handheld, or you can play the console port for a review when that comes out. If the graphics were that good on 3DS, Xbox must look amazing.

I've got Revelations lined up for 360 when it comes out, so I'll give it a spin then. Looking forward to Awakening now that you've said that. When tomorrow's over and the work is done, and my beloved Toronto Maple Leafs are on the TV...it'll be all me.

Looks like I will be playing Assassin's Creed III this weekend.  I picked up from Amazon for only 30 dollars.  I got the Wii U version though since I want to expand my Wii U library.  I am having a total blast with it so far I can't believe I let this one pass by me.

You aren't the only one, Tasuki. I picked it up for a similar price on 360 a couple of weeks ago, and its still in the shrinkwrap! Fire Emblem...then Assassin's Creed III...get them both done before GRID 2 comes out and ruins my life

@SuperKMx:  Well I have to admit I didn't like the other Assassin Creed games but I have been wanting to play this one for away I think because it has to do with Colonial America that had something to do with it.  But yeah I can see why this game the the review scores it did.  Awesome game indeed, hope you enjoy it as much as I am Ken.

I like ACIII. I bit glitchy, but fun & really ambitious. One time, I climbed on the edge of the rooftop of a building, & a redcoat told me to get down from there. I reached up & tugged on his arm, & he fell off the roof screaming. I laughed at how successful that assassination was. It was so subtle; I just tugged on his arm.

I actually haven't ran into a glitch once but I am playing the Wii U version.  I did however experience a freeze but I dont know if that was cause of the game or the Wii U.
