Topic: What did you play this weekend

Well like NintendoLifes What are you playing this weekend article they have every so often I decide to start a What did you play this weekend thread were you can post what you played this past weekend.  Just be careful with spoilers if you are talking about the a game.

For me I was on some sort of Capcom kick.  I played Megaman 2 and Resident Evil Revelations on my 3DS and than Super Street Fighter IV on the Xbox 360.  Not sure how that happened really since I have MHU and Castlevania: MoF to complete as well as Tomb Raider but I guess I just felt like going back and playing some older games this weekend.

So did you guys play anything this weekend?

Started another playthrough of Gears Judgment singleplayer and finally played some free-for-all matches in multi. I also made sure to find plenty of time for MLB 13 The Show.

I went a bit retro this weekend, and busted out the Dreamcast.

So most of the weekend was spent playing Sega Rally 2, 18 Wheeler, and MS-R.

Minecraft, Fire Emblem Awakening, & Halo 4 cause it's Spring Break (that does count, right?).

Well this past weekend I started Bioshock Infinite (lovin that game so far).  I also managed to play a bit of an older PC game called Heroes of Might and Magic III with my son, and to wrap up the weekend I dusted off my DSlite and began a play through of Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance on GBA.  I have the Castlevania two pack for GBA and I remember playing the heck out of Aria of Sorrow but for some reason I dont even remember playing Harmony but I guess at some point I did cause there was a save file on it lol.

So how did your gaming weekend go?

It was all Bioshock Infinite for me.

That plus Red Dead Redemption & Minecraft.

Have you played the new one on the 3DS? I tried the demo, & it was great.

Yep I even have that one bought it a few weeks ago.  And yeah I am enjoying that one too, honestly I think all the hate for Mirror of Fate is people blinded by nostalgia.

Well another weekend has come and gone.  For me cause it was Wrestlemania Weekend I didnt get much time for video games, so I just played some World of Warcraft and a bit of Tomb Raider.

I played more Bioshock Infinite, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14, Battleblock Theater, and even started my first (yes, I'll admit it) Pokemon game on the 3DS with Pokemon Pearl.

MLB 13 The Show and a bit of Gears Judgment.

How is The Show, Gamer83? I haven't really played any baseball games for a while so I'm a bit out of touch with them. Quite fancied The Show from what I've seen.

I love it. As a big fan of the sport I think it captures the feel of it perfectly. It's almost like watching on tv. This year they improved the batting quite a bit and the pitching is rock solid as always. I personally enjoy franchise mode but I think the big draw to the series for most people is Road to the Show. I haven't really tried that mode but I know people who don't like baseball at all who play The Show just for that.

If you even have a slight interest in baseball it's worth it. If you do buy a copy, let me know what you think.

Will do - just trying to find a decent-priced copy. As it isn't all that popular here in the UK, the price is 1.5 times a standard full-price game!

Wow thats nuts.  Does that have to do with the popularity of baseball there or what?

I think so, yeah. The only copies I can find over here are "region free" rather than actual UK copies. The game's definitely been released over here, so I don't know what's happening. Might check the PSN Store in a minute to see if I can grab a digital copy instead.

Ah yeah, it's on the Euro Playstation Store. £39.99, which is about right.

Will grab that over the weekend!
