Earlier today we celebrated the 30th anniversary of The Elder Scrolls series, and as it turns out, so has Bethesda - dropping a small update on The Elder Scrolls 6 in the meantime.

Taking to social media earlier today, Bethesda Game Studios talked about all things Elder Scrolls, including how things are going during the early stages of TES6 development. Here's that tidbit on the Skyrim sequel, and we'll drop the team's full post down below as well:

"Last but not least, yes, we are in development on the next chapter- The Elder Scrolls VI. Even now, returning to Tamriel and playing early builds has us filled with the same joy, excitement, and promise of adventure.

Thank you again for supporting us all these decades, and all you have brought to the games, making them your own. We couldn't be more excited to continue it and celebrate the next 30 years."

Bethesda Provides Tiny Update On The Elder Scrolls 6 To Celebrate Series Anniversary 1

Unfortunately, this is all we have today as far as an update on the next Elder Scrolls game goes - a game that's been shrouded in mystery since it was first unveiled. Bethesda Game Studios has been pretty darn busy with Starfield over the last few years though, so, it's understandable that there's a bit of a wait for its next big TES game.
