since we’re talking FIVE years with ONE game , it’s gonna have to be a multiplayer by default so - I’d have to go with ……Left4dead2 ! it was the only game i actually ever played for at least 5+ years

OG Xbox Ninja Gaiden with all the Hurricane Pack DLC.

Halo Infinite multiplayer.

@Bundersvessel they are. but most of the playerbase moved to PC, and it still has a very sizeable player count and even still gets maintenance updates from steam

@nomither6 Makes sense, these things inevitably live longer on PC. If the appetite was there I would definitely be up for getting a ragtag group together to revive it.

If so, probably Elden Ring.

It's a timeless classic that never gets old. There's something strangely addictive about sorting those cards and trying to win a game. Plus, it's so convenient—you can play it on your phone, computer, or with an actual deck of cards. It's my go-to when I need to unwind or kill a bit of time. It's not too intense either, which is perfect for relaxing after a hectic day. If I had to pick just one game to play forever, I'd lean towards https://freecardgames.io/solitaire/ . What about you? Age of Empires 2 or Romance of the Three Kingdoms/Nobunaga’s ambition.

Skyrim. only played it once, and could do multiple different characters / builds.

It is too hard to choose, I would pick a Switch game but since it seems to be Xbox-centric, I'll just go for Banjo-Kazooie. Very charming game!
