It seems that console sales are indeed relevant for MS, and the past two years of declining sales are unacceptable. That’s why they changed the leadership and will hopefully return to their old strengths, with more exclusive games on Xbox consoles and a greater overall focus on consoles.
Here we are again with Jez Corden and his fantasy ideas. Can anyone tell me where Xbox said that you can install other storefronts on the console, apart from what comes from Windows Central? I believe Xbox said – but correct me if I’m wrong – that they want to bring Xbox to other storefronts.
Edit: I’ll believe the rumors only when they come officially from Bond, Spencer, or someone similar, and not from a rumor spreader who’s right maybe 1 out of 20 times.
I think he is not trustworthy; he is a PC and Windows fanboy and hates consoles. That’s why he wants a Windows PC as the successor to the Xbox. All the rumors that the next Xbox will be an Xbox PC or a hybrid device come from him, and everyone else just picked them up. Sarah Bond herself said they are building a new Xbox console and not an Xbox PC, and it never came from Xbox that you could install Steam on it—this is also a rumor started by him. They only said that there will be no limits on where you can play Xbox.
