Anyone fancy another FIVE new Xbox features?!
These five features begin rolling out to select members of the Alpha and Alpha-Skip-Ahead rings in the Xbox Insider program today (August 19th), and they'll eventually become available for everyone in the weeks and/or months ahead.
We've got some cool stuff in here as well, such as the ability to configure and view your dashboard in more ways, manage your local storage, view your profile badges properly, and even get a new "day one" badge in some cases!
Let's take a look at all five features, and you can let us know what you think of them in the comments.
1. Customise Recent Games and Apps On The Xbox Dashboard / Try A New "Immersive Background" Mode
"You can now remove any item in [the Recent Games & Apps list on the Home screen] using the Menu button, including the Play History tile...
"XBOX Insiders can also try a new immersive background mode that lets your dynamic or custom background take center stage. Simply press the right thumbstick button on your controller from anywhere on Home to fade away the UI and enjoy your background without distractions."
2. View, Sort, And Delete Local Game Saves
"Starting today, you can view, sort, and delete local game saves that aren’t currently in use, helping you make space for the games you’re currently playing. Whether you want to delete a single large save file or clear all unused local saves at once, you now have more visibility and control over your console’s storage."
3. Get Detailed Info About Your Xbox Profile Badges
"Now you can view detailed information for every badge displayed on a profile, including high-resolution artwork and details about when and how it was unlocked. Whether you’re revisiting your own collection or exploring another player’s profile, it’s easier than ever to discover the story behind each badge and celebrate the achievements, milestones, and experiences they represent."
4. New Profile Badge For Getting The Xbox One At Launch In 2013
"Starting today, players who unlocked the Day One achievement will receive a new commemorative Day One profile badge, recognizing that they were there when it all began."
5. Purchased Games Will Now Automatically Be Removed From Your Xbox Wishlist
"Starting today, purchased games will automatically be removed from your wishlist, helping you spend less time managing your library and more time playing."
