I've just spent an hour playing CloverPit and it's very good. It would use the word 'addictive' but that seems inappropriate. Despite the 18 rating and the gambling theme, it's a game that is very much anti-gambling.
Really pleased about Pacific Drive turning up on Game Pass. I got it on PS5 as a Christmas present last year. I fired it up in January, expecting to play for a couple of hours and then sell it. I ended up doing over 60 hours and completing it. It's a really tense game at times, despite there being no combat in it. At times, when the car is low on petrol (gas) or the front lights have died, it made me quite fretful and anxious. The story and voice acting are also good; engaging without being overblown or ridiculous. I can't recommend it enough. So glad it's going to have a bigger audience now.
As one of the apparently few people who actually bought it, I can heartily recommend it. Most gamers already know if they like the Supermassive games or not, and this one does nothing that will change your opinion either way. What is does do very well is present an interesting story in a reasonably short run-time. As both a Game Pass Ultimate and PS+ premium subscriber, I have a lot of games to try and fit into my limited time. So I appreciate a game that will tell its story in a short timescale. Graphically and gameplay-wise, it's probably the best of the Supermassive games. Only the Until Dawn remake is close to it in terms of graphical sophistication and well-developed controls. Like all of their games, it has great accessibility options for those of us who have specific limitations. Some reviewers had issues with the ending, which I can understand. Personally, I guessed what type of ending was coming so wasn't disappointed. If you think about the fact that this is a tie-in with Dead by Daylight, there's kinda only one way it's going to end.

Re: Microsoft Rewards Is Allowing You To 'Double Your Points' Until The End Of 2025
Nice little Christmas present from Microsoft. As someone who obtains these points anyway through my daily activities, it's nice to get an extra bonus.

@el_pieablo
I hadn't spotted that. Thanks for the heads-up.
Re: Microsoft Rewards October Gift Card Sale Begins, Includes Discount On Xbox Credit
Maybe this is just my maths, but is this only 5% discount for the Xbox/Microsoft cards? If so, it was hardly worth waiting for.
Re: The Casting Of Frank Stone Looks Set To Prove Popular On Xbox Game Pass Next Week
@neillaw
It's a completely separate game. It just uses characters/themes from Dead by Daylight.

Re: Seven Games Will Leave Xbox Game Pass In Early February 2025
A Litte to the Left is an excellent little puzzle game. Well worth a couple of hours of your time. I ended up buying it and the DLC.
