@Smithy9 You are absolutely right. This way of thinking is very common now. People apply for jobs, get hired and then demand "work/life balance" as opposed to liking for a job that offers that balance. I've worked at all levels and in many industries, so you're correct: Telework is a tool for the company (office space management, specific team resource allocation, etc.), it is not a benefit for an employee.
