Mattel Brick Shop Unveils Lifesize Original Xbox With 3,509 Pieces & Five Key Features

We've seen all sorts of products being created to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Xbox this year, but this latest one is surely one of the coolest - a lifesized replica of the original Xbox that includes lights, sounds and hidden game scenes!

This is being brought to us by the folks at Mattel Brick Shop, and it's already available to purchase right now at a variety of retailers for £295.00 / $324.00. It features a 3,509 piece original Xbox console that's 1:1 scale with the real thing, along with the classic Duke controller and various other bonus features.

In fact, Mattel Brick Shop is highlighting five key features in particular here:

1. 3,509 piece buildable 1:1 scale XBOX Original console with the iconic “The Duke” controller
2. Detailed interior that reveals iconic scenes from 3 Microsoft video games: Halo Combat Evolved, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, and Psychonauts

4. Modular design allows each game scene to be displayed separately

You can apparently remove and showcase the three game-inspired modules individually, while pressing the buttons on the Duke controller will activate lighting effects and soundtracks based on those titles.

This ultimately sounds like a fantastic set for anyone interested in LEGO-style builds, and we reckon it's going to prove highly popular over the next few months as we head towards Christmas - even despite the relatively high price tag!
