@Lrapsody I was thinking "Gamepass is dead to me" as I was reading this article. The promise of games to come has lost its lustre given the state of many of the delivered games, the delays and now the Stalker 2 situation - feels like Gamepass was a beta testing ground. And the cost? £276 a year? I never spend that much on games. My gaming diet has transitioned to smaller, heavily reduced games but just as enjoyable rather than bloated AAA games. And, strangely, my Xbox is largely redundant having been usurped by the far less powerful Switch 2. The latter point really surprises me but it is what it is.
Xbox PR boss: "Phil, can we release a comment from you on Jim's departure?" Phil:"Thanks for coming?" Xbox PR boss: "I think we need a bit more than that..."
I remember being blown away by Delta Force on PC in 2000/2001. I had climbed a watchtower and someone came over the headset to tell me they saw someone following me up. I turned around and popped them. No idea why that should be amazing but I was stunned. We take so much for granted these days.
These announcements are always phrased in such a weird way. It feels like politician's spin.
This is a message, essentially, about not being ready to release Ark 2 for a very long time. How are we going to spin that? By saying that we are ready to release a roadmap and another version of the previous game.
... Perhaps the punter's won't notice.
I always feel like I'm being played or manipulated by these pr statements.
Just taking a breather. This is the third or fourth time I have tried to okay this and I keep on wimping out. So horribly scary. I just found someone, they said there used to be another door, turned my back and they got snatched. I screamed out loud, I can now see the other door but not sure I have the guts to see what lies through it. Remind me again... Why do people enjoy horror so much?

Bugger. I was hoping this was at least one game I did not have to be interested in.

Man, I know I'm getting old but not as quickly as the language in that trailer! How dramatic was all that swearing?
