I think it will be an awesome showcase, Xbox have been doing great ones since Series S/X reveal...its more really about in what condition and how long will it take the games release. The only way to sway that is with action, not game reveals.
'Great content'? I think you mean souless genric openworld games Ubisoft? Cant see this putting a dent in Game Pass, their closer competitor would be EA Play, and that has more variety, plus comes integrated into Game Pass...
Headset arrived on wednesday so dropped all other games to dive into it:
PSVR2 Horizon: Call of the Mountain We always knew this would be a tech marvel but what about the rest? Im a big VR nut, so im spending lots of time going off path to interact with objects and drool about vistas. I usually dislike VR platforming, but this title does a great job at giving you new tools and challenges to keep it intresting, plus stealth while climbing is well suspenseful. Combat aint bad, it does a solid job of bringing series style to first person...although i miss the melee follow ups. The main character and plot are dull, but all the rest is incrediable...its 8/10 material for me so far.
Gran Turismo 7 Never played this series nor really got into racing titles (asides Mario Kart)...but in VR? Just wow. So addictive. Cars handle great, theres so much customisation and things to do, im hooked. Its amazing how appealing a title i wouldnt look twice at, is so much fun in VR.
Resident Evil Village Just started it the other night. This isnt some rushed port, Capcom have done a baffiling good job at bringing motion controls to this, and all for no extra cost...and holy crap, the haptics from shooting the shotgun! It plays great so far but am going to pause until finishing Horizon, then give this my full time.
Thank godness i took the last 3 months to burn through my Game Pass 'play later' list, this is almost 50% of what it was.
With that said, Guardians, Zero Escape and Empire of Sin were a blast, i highly recommend them if you have the time before deadline. I couldnt click with Weird West, Tunic, Genisis Noir or Young Souls so dropped them after a while. I bought Undertale, Paradise Killer and KRZ on the switch on sale randomly so will check them later.

The combat, visuals and narrative are awesome, but the performances, dialogue and UI are just as grating as with the first game...dont know what it is, but that aspect still doesnt gel with me this time as well.
PC GAME PASS Pentiment Slowly playing through this one via cloud streaming on mobile. Pretty much passed the midpoint. A rich and involving narrative here, really engrossed with where the story is going...
QUEST 2 Return to Castle Wolfenstein Playing this title for the first time via Team Beef's fantastic mod. Its a pretty old school FPS i missed back in the day, but playing in VR gives the whole thing a fresh layer of fun, in what is considered the best Wolfenstein...good stuff.
PS5 Horizon Forbidden West I got all the way to reviving Gaia a few months ago then gave this a pause as i landed four months of free PC Game Pass. Thinking to dive back in, want to finish before i play Call of the Mountain.
Quest 2 Until You Fall Bloody difficult but rewarding and addictive. Pretty awesome VR roguelite, and what a soundtrack!
Mare Its a bit meh. Lovely visuals and decent puzzles, but it leans so heavy into Team Ico's aesthetic that it feels more like a rip then a homage.
PC Game Pass Deathloop Pretty fun, and its style has clicked with me. Am a bit annoyed that the Roguelite aspect sortve makes my favorite part of an Arkane game (the skill tree and finding upgrade items) irrevelant. Fair enough, they tried something new with their formula, its still quite fun.
Pentiment This one took a while to warm to me, but now im near the end of the first act and im hooked. As an intreractive narrative, it is really on another level. Fantastic and gripping stuff.

@Tharsman P4G is long as a game, but relativly short compared to P5R. When I completed my run it was about 60 hrs.
