@smoreon @dskatter @themightyant @NEStalgia Well the one thing that has come from my comment is that you've all politely made me feel guilty for jumping the gun early.
@themightyant Tbh it probably was an over reaction, I wasn't a long term subscriber and probably have a breather then try again. I think it was a few bad videos in a row that got me, but it does seem to flame the console wars.
@smoreon A lot of the time it's chatter across the internet, the issue with electronics there is a lot of variables for all console to run exact the same. Even playing the same game across a month some days they can sometimes feel a little off.
@dskatter It was the final thing that I found pointless from their videos, eveyone has their TV's calibrated to how they like it and even in the comments they got pulled up for it. I've had frame drops on the PS5 and Series X, I've had no issues were some have had issues and I've had issues were some haven't. Each machine runs differently and I rather just play the fame and enjoy it rather than pick up something that really is noticeable without a device.
Digital Foundry say no more, I stopped watching their videos when they compared Hi-Fi Rush and said the PS5 version had better shadow's. These things wouldn't be noticeable by most players, and if there only use one of each console there is no bench mark as two PS5 or two Series X can run completely different.
Flintlock for me, I made the mistake of avoiding Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty until I played Lies of P as I don't do well with those type of games or as of now I didn't.
I prefer Performance mode but will try quality first but more likely end up on Performance. Prime example I've been chipping away at Valhalla since 2020 and since late 2021 on a Oled C1, which I had it set to quality but since playing more games in Performance I've had to change as it looks smoother.
@NeoRatt This one felt the biggest loss due to it having the extra bits added to it, but on the other hand the monthly is easier for me now as it's not tied to playing certain games.
It's paid for Game Pass, PS+ and Amazon vouchers and at the moment I'm still redeeming vouchers for around the same time on the three rolling dates, so I'm still happy.
I'm currently getting it with my broadband as it was an introduction offer but that's about to expire, and when my EE Sim only contract ends in a few months time I'm going to get a plan that offers an Inclusive Offer which can be Game Pass. I might already be entitled to Game Pass but won't show due to already having the offer.
Have a look at your app as I'm not sure there available on contracts with phones.
@Kaloudz I totally agree and even with the cuts I've not really seen much change, I use mine on Amazon Vochers as I get Game Pass via EE plus I'm two years ahead. I usually claim on or around the 13th, 05th, 25th then repeat.
I've claimed one on the 4th Dec, the 25th Dec and heading for around the 13th Jan, so for those who say it's not worth doing now well it's their loss.
Not available everywhere but Game Pass can be bought cheaper or for next to nothing with the XBox Live conversion trick, CDKeys and Microsoft Points. Since I started with GP in early 2019 I've only payed £10.99 twice and got a year free with my Internet.
@BolkaRover A good point you can forget details like that, before Microsoft Points the most I payed for Game Pass was £70 for the year it's just about looking out for offers.

Re: Joanna Dark Actor 'Crazy Excited' To Lead Xbox's Perfect Dark Reboot
Somewhere between pretty good and fantastic, I remember playing Perfect Dark Zero and found it rather disappointing but thus looked excellent.

Re: Xbox's New Microsoft Rewards Quest Gives You 1000+ Points Per-Month
@electrolite77 It's got to enough, I don't need Game Pass at the moment as I'm two years ahead and about to get it as free add on with my mobile.
I get an Amazon voucher on or around the 5th, 25th and the 15th, which is more than Game Pass.

I don't do Soul type games but I liked the look of it and gave it a chance seeing it was on Game Pass, definitely my Goty.

I wonder how much fans are paying out for Gold when Microsoft Points covers the cost for Game Pass.
