What part of xbox is dead to all you whiners? U realize ull now be able to play ff14 on the go for xbox once it's finally released? I play gamepass more than the games I purchase. Xbox pays attention to what people actually DO with the consoles and the amount of time ppl actually play. So this is only them maximizing their potential. What in the world is all this doom and gloom about the console when ppl think they deserve something for 1. Not buying the game as support for the console, 2 having gp only when new games come out, binge on it. Then cancel the service like that's really gonna get more games on gamepass. Everything I enjoy I support. I'll support starfield by buying it as well, because I still play fallout and skyrim. Isn't focusing on games the same as focusing on the console? This is a system for games. Any improvements to streaming is a boon for xbox. Luckily enough when you do what ms is doing. They don't have to waste money on making a portable console sellable. They can keep the games they are making for xbox and make them more available to as many supportive markets it can reach.

@Solidchief I say never Playstation. But definitely a portable. Especially a portable everyone has. Continuing a good relationship with Nintendo by sharing it increasing the chance of it getting a sequel and increasing xbox revenue 2 ways.

@StonyKL I like skyrim more than fallout. Fallout setting isnt a setting I like being immersed in. But starfield looks great and doing all the right things

@Nintendo4Sonic well they did admit they didn't help Redfall, this is reassuring that this isn't happening on starfield. What else could you be looking for?

Honestly after watching this closely I want more info or for it to just be done. MS has made a major set of changes in order to make this work and I am a full supporting partner. Seeing it tho showed their vulnerability, so I decided to actually use the cloud services for streaming more to really see how I feel about it.

This really shouldn't stress me out. But being 36. Growing up playing Nintendo a d loving ff2 and 3 until 7 came out. Never cared for sony and Sony existence made it hard to be a Nintendo fan. All games just went to Playstation and Nintendo stayed on cartridges. So I lived a lifetime of Sony getting there way even now with xbox. Literally there is no way this is all happening coincidentally. Ps went from saying gp is unsustainable to making a cheap yet more expensive version of it all while dealing companies out of putting things on xbox and gamepass. Honestly I wish ms would just fund a entire remake of breath of fire series. Just so we don't get left out of it.

When I read it'll help no one but themselves. Yet I see gamepass having a hard time with 3rd party. While Sony is just gifted its really hard to understand the notion of "it'll only help themselves" isn't that what everyone is doing?

They can take off old exclusives IMHO. But tbh I feel like it's only doing what ppl call poorly because you know who is making things weird with not just timed exclusives but also barring talking about it entirely on the other console. That's bad for gaming I don't care who does it.

No matter how you spin it or slice it. They are being petty. Is call of duty pulling off of Sony cuz it's behavior? No. So this pretty much wraps it for me with square. I just wanted to have ff3 available to me for the millionth time on the console I play the most. I have no interest in playing every ff game. I'd rather ms team up and fund a bof game and still let it be multiplat. Cuz square allows Sony to do this to them is on them. I don't even buy their half arsed games anyway. Remember Sony pulled their d4 ads in retaliation to ms. They are trying to make it look strangely personal but it's not really. So personally when it comes to stories I just like riot forge games and stories. But back to a bof remake I think it's time for some giant dragons and a transforming main characters. I also think capcom has really good beast mechanics and remakes are where they are getting good. Just fund it so Sony doesn't try to leave you out again like sf5. Lol yea Sony funded it but sf6 sure did seems like it came out much faster. Fund it! Fund a bof!

Remember when people wanted Japanese rpgs to all be turn based? Japanese games aren't about that tradition anymore because of western influences. So in my opinion the whole thing is now only Sonys influence. They westernized ff14 an ppl whined and now it's still western af but since it's exclusive you aren't hearing it. It's like Sony is secretly fighting to hold onto what makes the 98%. What Sony is doing with ff looks like they are purposely making them get low sales so they can buy em. I pretty much won't even bother lookin at trailer for ff or square games. Like why get excited when it takes this long and they could have just spoke of the exclusivity immediately but instead made us wait for Spencer to tell us he's trying until he just comes out and says it. Then squares excuse is. Ooooh Sony paid for us to build it on their software from the ground up. I'm literally too old for this nonsense.

Very fun I might say. With limited time. Yet I see people saying my maxed every thing on every playable class with a large party and said it's repetitive.. well that's what happens when you repeat.

@ActionPanther they should hire Reggie fils-aime lolllll I'd actually care what he'd have to say if he was though. He really cares about games and Sony needs someone to represent the level of love for gaming they expect there fans to have.

@Romans12 I hear you I have the same thing. Literally live with 4 grown people and 1 kid that play games. 1 ps5, 3 xboxes, the ps5 never gets played. We have 2 game pass accounts and never run out of things to play to the point where we don't even get the exclusives on ps5 anymore until they go on sale.

@Feffster I would hope they see this and drop the case. Personally I think this should show them that Sony has no interest in CoD. So their is no case outside of JUST promising CoD. Sony makes exclusive content in games all the time to the point where square can't even make ff16 on xbox because it's 'so integrated with Sonys technology aka money' they'd have to entirely rebuild it on xbox. So if they don't sign the deal now where it makes all the promises. If you wait til after the deal is finalized and it only promises to release CoD on the console. Like they did with Nintendo.. they didn't promise "all equal content" to any future device. They offering that NOW in contract.. which is why the COO is saying they're refusing a long term delicious deal. Full access to whatever 1st party content is made is a sweet deal. This current Sony behavior doesn't even deserve it.

I've honestly stopped playing square games due their Sony current tactics. It's like Sony is tryna make them. Not compete. So they lose enough money to be bought. But by that time no one will care.
