Exclusives are a dying thing and they deserve to die, I really hope that the Sony is gonna stop porting games to PC is false, Microsoft has been releasing games on PC long before they ever brought them to Nintendo or Sony consoles and why would you buy an Xbox when PCs are generally way more powerful and if people had the option they would just go PC Steam is releasing the Steam Machine which is gonna compete directly with Project Helix, and Project Helix is gonna just be a PC with access to multiple game stores like steam and epic. The PS4/XB1 generation was really the point where you had to win that generation or be left behind, and PlayStation won that one and when people have their entire game library that's backwards compatible they are not gonna want to start over and lose their library by switching to a different console, it's like how hard it would be to switch from iOS/android to the other after being invested in the ecosystem for so long.
The past year or 2 has been brutal for game developers no matter of Microsoft owned them or Sony, the layoffs are royally hurting the industry and making games exclusive to a single platform while leaving out millions of players that are on a different one is just gonna hurt developers more, and game budgets. I want games to succeed and developers to be able to keep creating games that everyone can enjoy, and lots of people can't afford to just buy several different machines. Right now the best thing for the games I dustry is to have their games reach as much of an audience as possible so they can continue to create new worlds for people to explore and stories to tell no matter what type of hardware people are playing on. Exclusives nowadays don't help anything they just hurt in the long run
I have an Xbox series X but my main console is my PS5 and I play majority of games on it, and will be picking up Halo on it, but I also think that we are at the point where gaming needs to be on all platforms to survive. Sony releasing and publishing Helldivers 2 on Xbox I hope is a start to more games being ported over to give developers more revenue to keep building amazing games for everyone to enjoy. I think if Sony released the Last of Us and Horizon games, and Spiderman and Ghost of games on Xbox they would have incredible success

Re: Forza Horizon 4 Is Still Packed With Players On Xbox, And It's Easing The Wait For Horizon 6
I'm one of those that still plays this a lot, I easily get over 200 FPS on my Gaming Laptop and it's just fun to boot it up and have a chill time
