Sony will try to buy Square now, and the FTC needs to try to block it for the same reason they blocked Microsoft. Unlike with Microsoft, judge would have no reason to block FTC there, since Sony has proved in the past they will keep games off XBOX

Us judge cleared it before Sony signed any 10 year deal. Does this mean Microsoft can move forward without promising Sony anything? Cause nothing would make me happier than if Microsoft makes the next call of duty exclusive to punish Sony for the ***** they pulled here.

I hope this whole debacle doesn't put xbox off feom acquiring more studios/publishers. Even with activision bought they will be in third place, and should be allowed to purchase more for better competition. Really hoping for a Japanese publisher like Capcom or Fromsoftware. Sony will be buying square Enix soon.

Sony should compete on the strength of it's hardware and value of its marketplace, rather than its ability to keep games off other platforms. That's what Google and Apple are doing, along with every pc maker.

Microsoft should buy Capcom or Fromsoftware after Activision. Even after buying activision, Microsoft can buy one of the two and still be under Sony in marketshare.

Game pass could double in price and will still be a fantastic deal than a company that charges $70 for all day one games.
