@TheOfficialJW 2 words - rechargeable AAs. Cost more than disposable ones but still waaaay less than having to buy another OEM internal pack from MS every year lol?! But i assume MS will still go with the replaceable OEM packs soon cause they will want to start making money on accessories like sony intends to with their new controllers. I get the logic, but it totally sucks for consumers if they go that way.

@TheOldHunter4K The choice is very obvious - the integrated pack is likely of simple li-ion chemistry and will deplete within a year or so, resulting in less gaming time nad forcing you to buy another controller, whereas AAs are swappable and still have enough power to run and even outrun the lithium pack in gaming time.

Awesome news! Just PLEASE keep the swappable AAs option alive! Do NOT go with the integrated pack which will deplete in a year!

AA batteries anytime - they're fast swappable without fear of degrading over time - priceless! I hope they never change that.
PS is doing it wrong. Having AA batteries that i can replace is surely adding to the reasons why i stick with the xbox!
