Although it looks like a fantastic piece of kit and the fact you can play games from multiple platforms is a win. I can't help but feel that this machine kinda sums up where Xbox is at the minute. Games playable on other platforms on a device that probably isn't the best place to play those games and at a price out of line with people's ability to pay.
The brand is poison. What is an Xbox? Who needs an Xbox? Gamepass is great, but not 30 quid a month great. Been a fan since the OG machine. Love Phil, love the idea of Gamepass etc. But since the Xbox One the train and the track have been drifting further apart. The much lauded best controller on the market hasn't been improved in years. Dualsense destroys it from a tech POV. Switch 2 Pro controller is a better feeling controller. New and improved. This bare bones approach from Microsoft in recent years inevitably ending up here with mixed messages and a serious identity issue.

Absolutely every word from any of the Xbox or Microsoft execs seem fully intent on tanking the brand completely.
