Memories of the event are "blurry".

I didn't play it on launch, only picked it up recently. I have no big complaints. I miss the Top Gear test track from FM7, but other than that it's just as fun as the previous Forza.

Path of Exile 2 is the most interesting for me.

Mass Effect Andromeda. The One X is enhancement is nice but it could do with a 60fps patch.

Same as above comments. I think this one with some polish is going to be brilliant. I think the review score on here was way too brutal.

This is a first time I've seen a Bluesky post used as a source instead of X/Twitter. Times are changing, and hopefully for the better.

Tomb Raider Remastered Trilogy. Since the recent update to improve modern controls it plays really well.

Can't make head or tail of the wildly varying review scores. Doesn't really give me a good idea if it's worth the investment of time and money.

I'm surprised they haven't phased out the 512GB in favour of the 1TB model. 512GB (384GB usable) was scraping by when it launched and now it's just not enough space.

Sounds like it's getting more polished. I'll be getting this next week now the third update has landed.

@themightyant I'd agree. Forza is great but it's been fairly stagnant this year.

It is strange that Destiny 2 is on the list. I'm sure they could have replaced that with something more worthy.

I'm surprised that anyone is surprised. It's a huge game that's had a lot of content updates since release. Also the Xbox release will have high resolution assets.

I've already pre-downloaded this morning. Ready to go.

Getting Prince of Persia The Lost Crown and Tomb Raider Remastered.

Bought this after it dropped and it's so much more than a walking sim. Plotting routes out and making sure you take the right equipment. The sense of accomplishment getting a delivery done without damaging it is great. I haven't played a game this zen since Talos Principle 1.

I don't know how they can justify 449 as a sale price. It's like they don't want to shift consoles.

I really want to get in on this game, but I know my ADHD has trouble with games with a lot of cut scenes and dialog. It looks great, and it's nice to see so many people enjoying it and ignoring the toxicity. I will live vicariously on this one.

Yeah gaming discourse these days just feels very negative, super toxic. Seeing the first post in this thread and the amount of likes it got just makes you sigh. It doesn't shock you anymore, just makes you sad.

The DM voice over discord is useful. My friend created a server with the just two of us in so we could voice across pc and Xbox. Being able to just use DM voice makes things simpler.

I'll often double dip if I like a game enough, or if it's well suited to mobile play.

It certainly was the game that caught my attention in the showcase.

Yet another souls like. I enjoyed my time with elden ring and dark souls 1 but I find the genre overdone now. Will be a skip for me.

If anyone is enjoying the Darksiders 2 next gen update, Darksiders 1 Warmastered is only 3.99 at the moment and it's One X enhanced.

Xcloud is currently limited to 12mbps per second and codec h264. It was my understanding that this was actually a limitation in the hardware chips on the server blades. So if they've found a way around that to boost it then that's fantastic news.

@RiverGenie yes there is a toxic set of people online that have decided on certain reasons to be loud about this game. I don't care about them, this game looks great and I can't wait for it.

I found the gameplay of Xdefiant just too fast for my taste. It makes CoD feel slow when you go back to it.

I've been playing it a bit tonight. The improvements to lighting and shadows look really good. I wish this game had a photo mode as at times the art is very high quality. It's running a smooth 4k 60 for me on series x.

I only bought this game last week. This is a nice surprise.

Not being able to install an adblocker on it makes it pretty rough to use.

I think with all these updates I'm getting tempted to give this a shot.

I'm really intrigued by everything I've seen so far with this game. That atmosphere that drips of isolation is so appealing to me.

To be fair to the reviewer, they aren't the only one that found it a bit meh. Only XboxEra really rated it highly. Go check the opencritic score.

I'd be interested to see what this looks like. I wasn't a fan of the washed out look of Starfield on Xbox, and could never get the colour filter removal mod to work. Hoping this means they improved it.

If I play my switch for any length of time i end up pressing B on the Xbox controller to confirm things and end up cancelling out

Now that's a patch. The bot updates are going to massively improve the solo campaign experience. I had paused my play through when I heard the bots patch was coming. Looking forward to diving back in.

I am still pre-ordering it. Game looked great in the summer show and I am looking forward to playing as both protagonists.

@Fiendish-Beaver I see it the same. I was made to believe the figures were much worse, and this doesn't look quite as bad to me. I expect Sony to shift more consoles, as that's where the focus lies for them, whereas Xbox have left the console war and are focusing on the eco system.

Goes to show there's still a large market of gamers still on the previous gen.

I went from Ultimate to Core earlier this year. Microsoft had (still has?) a three monthly payment option that was only £17.99. Since I don't use most of the Ultimate features and prefer to buy games to own rather than rent it has saved me a fair bit of money.

Digital Foundry recently talked about how the Series S would handle Black Myth Wukong, and everyone felt that it would not be a problem to get it to an acceptable level on the machine.

I was shot down for saying it was an exclusivity deal in the last thread.
Sony haven't marketed the game because a) heavy marketing would make it look obvious and b) this game has done a great job of just marketing itself. Souls-likes are the gaming media's darling and get plenty of boosting naturally.
It will come to Xbox eventually. It would be amazing if one day we could see it on gamepass.

That's a good compromise for 60fps. I guess Series S users could have had an option to run sub 1080p for 60? Or possibly the memory bandwidth is a constrain they can't get round. But either way, look forward to playing this soon.

I only sub to game pass core so picked up world war z aftermath (you can play it without buying if you have ultimate). It looks a good successor to left4dead.

Sokopenguin looks like the cutest sokoban. Im definitely picking this up for some relaxed puzzling.

Perfectly happy with 30fps as long as the frame pacing is solid.

Looking forward to Civ VII and Indiana on the opening night.
