@Skinny-Pete You have to use Anna. Press down on the D pad to activate her, then press left on the D pad to activate auto drive.
Caveat Emptor: she's a good driver, but she's not the best driver. I was struggling to 3* the Pier Pressure Horizon Showcase. I used her, not to just give me three stars for free, but to watch how she drives certain sections where I was struggling.
The people who were exploiting the game were using FE cars with XP and Credit bonuses, then setting up ridiculously long 12-24 hour races and letting Anna do all the work.
