Right then, here we go! Halo: Campaign Evolved has officially launched in early access for Premium Edition and Premium Upgrade owners today, and therefore we've got footage from both the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S versions to share.
We're looking to the ever-reliable Fuzion Xbox Testing on YouTube for this, which always does a great job at providing gameplay for both consoles whenever a major new release arrives on the Series X and S.
On Xbox Series X, Halo: Campaign Evolved is said to run at 4K, 30FPS in Quality Mode and 1880p, 60FPS in Performance Mode, although the internal resolutions are believed to be slightly lower. The frame rate is generally very stable in both, albeit with some slight dips now and again. The channel describes it as "one of the best-looking Unreal Engine 5 games I've ever seen", and we've been very impressed with it here at Pure Xbox too.
On Xbox Series S, Halo: Campaign Evolved is said to run at 1080p, 30FPS in Quality Mode and 1080p, 60FPS in Performance Mode, but again with lower internal resolutions. It certainly looks softer and less detailed than the Series X version, but it's not disappointing by any means - and the most important thing is that it runs at a "robust" 30FPS and 60FPS according to this footage.
We'll leave you with both of Fuzion Xbox Testing's videos on Halo: Campaign Evolved down below, and don't forget that you can start playing it right now in early access, or wait until July 28th for the Xbox Game Pass release.
