Re: October 2024's Xbox Game Pass List Is Looking Surprisingly Empty So Far

IOI

@TheEstablishment That’d be logical but Microsoft doesn’t like logical decisions lol.
I think they’re just clearing the way and focusing entirely on Black Ops 6, they’re betting on it to be the biggest launch on Game Pass ever and it should be, otherwise it’s terrible for the future of the service.

Re: Here's What's Included In The Xbox September 2024 Update

IOI

@SodaPop6548 I read that they can’t have the store and remote play in the same app, that’s why Sony has a separate app for remote play so the App Store’s guidelines allow the PS app to have the store.

I like having everything in one app but I’d rather have the store in the app with remote play being separate as I almost never use it.

Re: Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed Now Has A Completely Free Demo On Xbox

IOI

@Banjo- Yes I do as MS is doing it very easy for us to complain in an almost daily basis so far this year, you tried to complain about the camera in a remake without even trying it or researching it yourself but ironically while fixed the Xbox version is the “worst” for the remake since gyroscope controls are actually useful…

Re: Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed Now Has A Completely Free Demo On Xbox

IOI

@Banjo- Why didn’t you check a gameplay or the demo itself before criticizing it?
I just played it and it’s finally fixed but it was obviously expected since the Wii version just didn’t have a second stick to control the camera.

And btw, both PS5 and Switch versions seem better to play since they support gyroscope and it’s pretty important for the gameplay, Xbox doesn’t cause their controllers are stuck with features from 20 years ago.

Re: Talking Point: Does Microsoft Have A '30FPS' Problem With Its Xbox Series X|S Output?

IOI

@armondo36 So you really have no issue that every time they’ve showed the game it has been at 60 FPS but it turns out it only runs at 30? Or the fact that this isn’t the first time the exact same thing has happened? Or that Aaron Greenberg said that 60 FPS was going to be the standard for this generation?

Don’t be so condescending, I personally have no problem playing any game at 30 FPS, but they keep lying to us time and time again and creating false expectations showing us the PC version of the game at 60.

Re: Talking Point: Does Microsoft Have A '30FPS' Problem With Its Xbox Series X|S Output?

IOI

Yes, it’s a ridiculous situation that they haven’t been able to get ONE game performing at 60 FPS at launch on the “world’s most powerful console”.

And it’s even worse they always try to excuse it with “30 FPS is more cinematic” or more recently “you don’t need 60 FPS” only to release a patch 6 months later enabling that performance, it lately feels as if the games we get “day one” on Game Pass Ultimate are beta versions and are patched when the PS5 version releases…

Re: Phil Spencer On Game Exclusivity: 'We Have To Anticipate There's Going To Be More Change'

IOI

All this going in circles is exhausting, I can’t trust a single word that comes out of Philnocchio’s mouth and for whoever that is still somehow trying to excuse or defend all of this just look how many games are already skipping Xbox for whatever reason.

Personally my problem isn’t that X game goes to PS5, but the fact that the platform is becoming irrelevant, it already is for many developers as it’s the platform with less users and therefore less sales, so no third-party dev prioritizes the Xbox version of their game, causing to launch after other platforms, just like Wukong right now, and some are already choosing to skip the platform altogether.

This is only going to get worse, and it’s starting to look like Windows Phone which struggled to get support from developers to bring their apps, MS in their business greed removed Office mobile exclusivity from WP releasing Office for iOS and Android and it slowly made Windows Phone irrelevant for both users and developers alike, sound familiar?

Re: Xbox Boss Phil Spencer Comments On Indiana Jones PS5, And Microsoft's Plan Moving Forward

IOI

@BacklogBrad You really think 6 months ago there wasn’t ANY plan to port Indiana Jones to PS5?

The lie is that although it wasn’t a part of the initial 4 games he knew perfectly well there were already plans to port it to PS5 as every single port has to be planned and done with several months or even years in advance, and yet he chose to name Indiana Jones as a game not coming to competing consoles, here we are just half a year later with a 180º turnaround on that statement, how could anyone believe a single word that comes out of his mouth? It’s not even the first time Phil gets caught in a lie and yet some people keep excusing him…

Re: Xbox Boss Phil Spencer Comments On Indiana Jones PS5, And Microsoft's Plan Moving Forward

IOI

Lying Phil comes back at it, y’all remember how just 6 months ago he denied Indiana Jones to be coming to PS5? It wasn’t part of the initial 4 games but a port isn’t decided and done in a few weeks, back when he said that he fully knew there were already plans to making the port and yet he affirmed it wasn’t planned just mere months ago.

He lied straight up to our faces, and it isn’t MS forcing this upon him, if he wasn’t okay with this strategy why is he still the head of MS Gaming?

And yes, the strategy will work for Microsoft, they will get their revenue, but us as users are left with a dying platform that more developers deem pointless to develop for, and with a shrinking user base it’s only going to get worse, the only thing left to do is abandoning the sinking ship with our digital libraries sinking with it…

Re: Former Xbox Exec Defends Phil Spencer's Recent Decisions As Head Of Xbox

IOI

Microsoft will gets its money selling software everywhere, but Xbox is dead, it’s a double spit that the day Black Myth Wukong skips or didn’t prioritize Xbox for whatever reason also a new big first-party game gets announced for PlayStation (and even like a hyped ‘one more thing’ kind of announcement) mere months after releasing on Xbox.

Just ignoring the fact that games aren’t exclusive anymore the optics of that announcement are terrible for Xbox fans who are yet again treated like third-class citizens, more games will keep skipping the platform as less people choose Xbox as it’s the console with less games with no exclusives. Gigantic f*ck up that sadly seems irreversible right now.

Re: Activision Blizzard Continues To Drive Massive Uptick In Revenue For Xbox

IOI

@PsBoxSwitchOwner The problem is that when big corporations realize that one sector will never perform as the other ones their answer is to just get rid of the entire sector altogether, like MS already did with Windows Phone.

I refused to believe that Microsoft would get rid of Xbox is it wasn’t allowed to buy Activision-Blizzard, now I’m 100% certain it was true.

Re: Microsoft Says FTC Is Being 'Misleading' In Response To Xbox Game Pass Criticisms

IOI

I’m with the FTC here, Microsoft outright lied to the regulator, and I mean, we all knew that if CoD made its way to Game Pass the price was inevitably going to go up, but they literally said they wouldn’t do it, not once but many times.

It’s crazy how just last year almost all of us were rooting for Microsoft excited for the possibilities of expanding Xbox with Activision, little did we know this would push Microsoft to get rid of Xbox and just be Microsoft Gaming.
