@UnlimitedSevens : I 100% agree with what you said. Physical games are teetering at this point, and I've actually gone backwards by playing my older consoles. I don't think there is any stopping Gamepass or Microsoft. The videogame consumer will take the cheapest route most gameplay value everyday of the week.
@Jaxx420 : I'm starting to think the normal holiday sales bonanza may end up a disaster for the new consoles. Wouldn't be surprised to see PS4 and Xbox one bundled with multiple games or subscriptions sell much better, especially at at 250 or 299 price point. Nintendo will likely offer some bundle to undercut these current gen competition. The U.S. economy is tanking, and the world economy is going to lag for awhile. A cheap bundled console with a large library may win out in a very weird holiday season.
That's tough. The launch will likely not go as well. But I don't know if the PS5 will do much better. These are likely 600 dollar machines few will have money for.
Imran Khan? I believe in the last gameinformer issue, the editor, Andy McNamara announced he was leaving as well and said Khan was a great journalist. I'll always love GI.
Not surprised by timed exclusivity. I don't even know if I care either. I'm not planning to upgrade anytime soon anyway.
Marvel has been lame since Disney got them. The comics are as generic as they get, sort of like the way this game looks. This type of exclusivity is goofy though. Are customers really going to buy a playstation just to see Spider Man? This isn't the Todd Mcfarlane or Steve Ditko version. This is the Sony/Marvel/Disney approved generic version of classic characters. Get real.
@BlueOcean ; I did the same thing. I would love to see Billy or Rebecca from RE Zero. And a third person point of view is the way to go. First person just doesn't feel like RE at all.
The Xbox boxart is nice. Has a futuristic feel to it. I would have preferred NBA 2K went with one cover athlete vs 3. And I personally dislike these offshoot Spider Man characters, Miles Morales, Spider Gwen, etc. If Peter Parker was the protagonist, I would have used old Steve Ditko or Jack Kirby art as a standard. Oh well.
I'd prefer physical and a disc drive. I'll never go all digital, because if that's the choice I'll stick with my back catolague of games and consoles.
I don't really care about Resident Evil Village yet. I want Resident Evil Revelations part three at this point. I feel like the Revelation series continue off of RE 5 and 6. Village and 7 should be listed as off shoots.
I voted they're not moving on until 2022. It is going to be a difficult holiday season globally for new consoles, so I could definitely see the current xbox, playstation, and switch selling way more than imagined. You also get huge libraries that are reasonably priced. The current xbox and playstation are going nowhere anytime soon.
That demo can't possibly reflect the actual game. I think that was put out there to show off the VR aspect if anything. Resident Evil 6 sold a ton, and I don't see Capcom totally scrapping that formula. It might be a little more of a mix, sort of what they did with Revelations.
@VanillaLake : Yeah, I used to see you all the time on Nintendo Life. I bought an xbox one last year, and it's been the best console purchase I've made in a decade. They cater much more to the gamer. For that, I've pretty much moved on from Nintendo.
I haven't played a wrestling game since No Mercy. I'll give it a try since its free. I hope it's more arcade like than simulation or allow an option for that.
This is a day one purchase. I'm guessing a 40 dollar price point. If they make Origins available via backwards compatibility, my xbox one will stay on forever to play through all these games.
Blood on the Dance Floor! Ah, someone appreciates some of the great MJ stuff from later on! I'll be jamming to NBA 2K16, since the playoffs start today.

Boycott? Haha, no. I have no interest in the game at the moment, but there are much more important things to possibly boycott. Not this.

Re: Poll: What Are Your Plans For Tomorrow's Xbox Games Showcase?
I'm planning to watch it on tv around 8pm eastern time. I wish they were doing it live at a more reasonable time because of work, but it's all good.
