I have never, since school, seen the word "niggly" used. Anywho...not only is BF6 circling but Tarkov's FULL release in Nov (the 15th to be exact), is coming to stake it's claim. So DF's extract mode will likely lose some would be players on PC to the godfather of extraction shooters. In other words, good luck lol.
@InheritNegative because it's the least powerful console. You can't complain about things like this when YOU paid for the weakest console. It runs DECENTLY playing BF6 cause a multi billion dollar company shelled out the cash and resources to make that happen. If you want better performance, get the series X, PS5 pro or build a PC like the rest of us. The series s holds games back, it's a fact. It should have never been made. Sorry not sorry.
Played it already on PC. Its good. Just good. The extraction mode left alot to be desired from a 2khr Tarkov, Hunt, and AB player. It will do well within the f2p community. Warzone kids will play it for sure. Console players that have always wanted to play Tarkov will enjoy the extract mode. It will do well imo.

Maybe an uncapped w VRR since it's, you know.... An xbox first party game. As an Xbox journalism site, y'all should be screaming and demanding on behalf of the community for bettet quality. We got this console (specifically the series x) for high frame rates AND higher graphical fidelity. Not necessarily both at the same time. Why don't we have a 1080p 120hz and fps mode? This game isn't exactly graphically demanding. Unreal.
The aiming is god awful. It's also 2023 and it's crossplay with no mouse and keyboard support... Oh sorry no mouse support lol. Iykyk.. wouldn't recommend yet.
Um gonna stick with instant on. My updates get done almost always when I'm not using my console. Plus I use the remote play feature a lot. I'm an electrician and I know what my console uses per year and it's not anything worth trying to save pennies over. Maybe PCs should have a power saving mode. I know my 800w power supply is pulling far more than an Xbox series x lol....If you're truly worried about resources (im not convinced), maybe try to get ppl to cut down on all their electronics. You wont see a dents worth from consoles being in energy saving mode. That's a fact.
