Re: Four Xbox Games Are Shutting Down Their Servers In July & August 2026

Commander91_YT

I don't even care about playing these games online I'm the type of gamer when it comes to sports games I strictly play the single player campaign mode they are super rich in massive content and far more entertaining than playing online PVP That's just how I am I know there are some people out there who do enjoy going up against other players in sports games but it's just not for me I find it extremely boring and oftentimes you have to deal with cheaters including people who don't play by the rules they often exploit the game mechanics so it's just not fun at all which is why I strictly stick to single player modes or there are times I don't mind playing sports games in local multiplayer with another person sitting next to me That's about it

Re: Talking Point: How Well Do You Expect GTA 6 To Run On Xbox Series X|S?

Commander91_YT

@ILuvGames You see that's where you have it wrong You cannot say that everybody had that problem and say that It's impossible That's not how video games works not every console will have the same problem and not every version of the same game will have the same problem This was already established decades ago Just like how many people complained how Borderlands 3 was running abysmal but when I first played the game on my Xbox One it was running smooth at a stable 30 FPS not everyone has the same problem like you do That's why I said I'm one of the few lucky ones because I don't buy used consoles I buy them completely brand new to ensure long-term stable performance I tell people all the time I don't recommend buying used consoles or certified consoles because they previously had issues which means they are only made for short-term gaming not for long-term gaming unless you go through the hassle of opening them up and replace the thermal paste with a new one and clean off the dust particles from the heat sink but I don't have to worry about that because my brand new consoles still run optimally And it's obvious you don't empty your console system cache like I do I always empty the console system cache once a month to ensure I avoid a buggy launch when I play a new game for the first time And you're not the only one who doesn't believe me because you're not educated enough to know about the console system cache apparently it's way above your pay grade lol

Re: Talking Point: How Well Do You Expect GTA 6 To Run On Xbox Series X|S?

Commander91_YT

@PsBoxSwitchOwner we don't know yet how GTA VI is going to look on Xbox Series S But I've known Rockstar Games for many years now I have no doubt that rockstar North is make it look visually amazing just like how I was impressed with Red Dead Redemption 2 was the best looking rockstar game I have ever played on Xbox One Way before i upgraded to the Xbox One X the game still looked visually amazing so I have no doubt GTA 6 is going to look breathtaking on the Series S

Re: Talking Point: How Well Do You Expect GTA 6 To Run On Xbox Series X|S?

Commander91_YT

@Bob_Tempura you could be right about that considering how extremely CPU intensive GTA 6 will be It will likely not render natively at 2160p 30fps on Xbox Series X and PS5/PS5 Pro It will very likely use some kind of advanced temporal reconstruction or they might use AMD FSR to reconstruct the images into 4K while keeping the internal resolution at 1440p to maintain consistent 30 FPS Rockstar North said the game will feature full ray tracing most likely the Xbox Series S version Wilder internally at 1080p and reconstruct the images to 1440p I have no doubt it's going to be a technical masterpiece because we have seen how well Red Dead Redemption 2 was made on Xbox One and PS4 It's some of the best looking games of all time with a stable 30 FPS so regardless of the internal resolution I have no doubt the game is going to look insanely real but the best thing we can do is wait for actual technical analyzation from YouTube tech channels such as Linus Tech tips VG Tech and ElAnalistaDeBits I strictly rely on the three of them for actual technical benchmarks I gave up supporting digital foundry and so should you as well They have become an absolute joke They no longer share actual technical benchmarks like they used to every nowadays they just talk out of their anus without backing it up I also enjoy watching The Xbox game tester but he gave up supporting YouTube after they demonetized him for no damn reason and refused to give it back to him After fighting about it for months they come up with the most pathetic excuse so he got pissed and diverted his content to TikTok unfortunately I will not be supporting him on that platform I do not trust TikTok and I'll never use it until they either make it US owned or permanently ban TikTok out of this country

Re: Talking Point: How Well Do You Expect GTA 6 To Run On Xbox Series X|S?

Commander91_YT

@ILuvGames The funny thing is I never had those screen tear problems or frame dips on GTA 5 I guess I'm one of the few lucky ones who didn't have much problems when it first launched I remember playing it for the first time on Xbox 360 I was truly amazed how technical the game was It had a surprisingly decent consistent 30 FPS most likely because I always empty the console system cache before I play a new game to ensure the smoothest experience I even bought the PS3 version Xbox One PS4 Xbox Series X and PS5 version And I have the smoothest experience with GTA V if people prefer to play the game at 60 FPS then they should play the game on PC that's their problem if they have an issue with 30 FPS And trust me I have played plenty of 60 FPS games consistently and I often play a lot of 30 FPS games And yet the frame rates don't bother me because my brain is already fully adjusted to them unlike other people who strictly play 60 FPS games pretty much soft locked themselves from enjoying 30 FPS games

Re: Talking Point: How Well Do You Expect GTA 6 To Run On Xbox Series X|S?

Commander91_YT

@Yooka-Laylee That's definitely a possibility on Xbox Series XS and PS5 I have used the 40 FPS mode And I really like it because it provides the highest 4K ray tracing graphics mode and a smoother frame rate experience I can see Rockstar Games giving the Series X and PS5 40 FPS mode But I have a bad feeling the Series S Will be left out because of its 4 teraflop GPU is simply not powerful enough to maintain a stable 40 FPS so they will likely just focus on a stable 30 FPS with ray tracing disabled They will likely use simplified texture packs to ease up The GPU load It's all about 30 FPS consistency

Re: Talking Point: How Well Do You Expect GTA 6 To Run On Xbox Series X|S?

Commander91_YT

@Balaam_ You're wrong about that I guarantee GTA 6 is going to look one of the best looking games on Xbox Series S It will likely run natively at 1080p just like GTA 5 Series S version natively runs at 1080p and according to Rockstar Games They are still focused on making the game look good as possible on all platforms so they definitely made GTA VI with the Series S in mind as a template there's no way the game is going to look that bad This ain't the Unreal Engine 5 This is Rockstar Games proprietary rage engine

Re: Talking Point: How Well Do You Expect GTA 6 To Run On Xbox Series X|S?

Commander91_YT

@ILuvGames I highly doubt GTA 6 will run terrible This is Rockstar Games we're talking about and they're using the latest Rage Engine And if you have played Red Dead Redemption 2 we have seen how stable that game is It has excellent frame pacing even GTA 5 has excellent frame pacing I never had a single problem playing it at 30 FPS so there's no doubt GTA 6 is going to run very smooth I feel like people have become way too paranoid nowadays so worried about how stable 30 FPS is but you're forgetting that Rockstar Games isn't using the unreal Engine 5 They are using their own proprietary rage engine that they have created which allows them to optimize their games at a core level

Re: Talking Point: How Well Do You Expect GTA 6 To Run On Xbox Series X|S?

Commander91_YT

@Millionski oh great You must be one of those people who are pathetically addicted to 60 FPS listen buddy you obviously never grew up playing on retro consoles where 30 FPS is pretty much the main target frame rate and always will be for a good reason most people who play on consoles Don't care for 60 FPS and games like GTA don't need 60 FPS not at all GTA has always been designed to run at 30 FPS I never had a single problem with their frame pacing especially GTA 6 going to strictly run at 30 FPS because of its insanely massive open world environment going to be the biggest open world map in history of GTA they need all the GPU power to make the environment as detailed as possible and it will likely be CPU limited It will likely never receive a performance mode maybe the best thing they can do is give us a 40 FPS mode That's the best logical step they can do and I'm totally fine with that

Re: Talking Point: How Well Do You Expect GTA 6 To Run On Xbox Series X|S?

Commander91_YT

@FraserG i suspect It's going to be stable at 30 frames per second there's no doubt about that when it comes to Rockstar Games rage Engine we have seen how incredible the game engine is even when I first played GTA 5 Xbox 360 I was amazed it was very consistent at 30fps just like the PS3 version is just as stable I have also upgraded to the Xbox One and PS4 version and still they are insanely stable at 30fps After I upgraded to the Series XS and PS5 version They are still insanely stable at 30fps even when I played Red Dead Redemption 2 It still stable at 30 FPS so there's no doubt GTA 6 will be just as stable on all console performs anyone who has a problem with 30 FPS are not true console gamers They are PC losers going to shove 60 FPS down our throats when in reality most console gamers don't care for it The more people realize that the more you will enjoy console games

Re: Xbox's Recent Battery Issue Was A Reminder To 'Earn Every Hour' With Players, Says Boss

Commander91_YT

@GamingGod no that's not how it works The battery does not affect the physical contacts of the analog stick or d-pads or the face buttons or triggers or shoulder buttons they only become less responsive when it's running low on battery so the controller starts to struggle to send data between the controller and the console But it does not damage the physical contacts that only happens if you play button mashing games quite often then yeah the physical contacts will begin to wear and tear much more quickly in matter of months so it's better to rely on Hall effect style controllers which they are much more resistant to physical wear and tear I highly recommend buying hyperkin hall effect controllers they are the best brand for Xbox and I guarantee you'll love them

Re: Xbox's Recent Battery Issue Was A Reminder To 'Earn Every Hour' With Players, Says Boss

Commander91_YT

@darylb24 technically PlayStation controllers has replaceable batteries even though they are built in but they can be replaced but most of the time you don't need to replace them I have bought many official dualshock and dual sense controllers and they have incredible very slow discharge rate meaning that they are able to hold the charge for a very very long time which is essential for long-term gaming experience and longevity they also have overcharge protection which basically means they always stop at around 96% to avoid damaging the lithium ion battery cells it helps keep them as healthy as possible however I do get what you mean there's a reason why Xbox controllers is affordable because you can just buy an official play and charge kit rechargeable battery and it will last up to 40 hours when fully charged so you don't ever have to worry about that ever again

Re: Xbox's Recent Battery Issue Was A Reminder To 'Earn Every Hour' With Players, Says Boss

Commander91_YT

@Balaam_ it was already explained many years ago why Microsoft does not include a built-in rechargeable battery inside their Xbox controllers It's mainly to keep their Xbox controllers affordable which still holds true today if you look up how much is the official Xbox Series controller it's often on sale

However when you try to purchase other wireless controllers that has a built-in rechargeable battery they're still pretty expensive and not that affordable the only time they become affordable is during massive holiday sales such as Black Friday or Cyber Monday or Amazon prime day besides if you purchase the official Xbox Play & charge kit You don't ever have to worry about running low on battery they have the most incredible long-lasting rechargeable batteries I have ever bought when I fully charge them they last several days The highest I ever went was more than 7 days until my Xbox Series X notified me the battery was low on the 8th day I was flabbergasted And it's been confirmed by Microsoft they last up to 40 hours when fully charged which is insane

However I do agree with you that using Xbox controllers with a wired cable is superior in every way especially if you play online games it's absolutely essential to use a wired controller

Re: Xbox's Recent Battery Issue Was A Reminder To 'Earn Every Hour' With Players, Says Boss

Commander91_YT

@nomither6 This is the way to experience Xbox gaming in it's peak form I love that brand hyperkin I have also 2 hyperkin wired controllers that closely resemble the Xbox One S design which also includes a dedicated share button and never had to worry about running low on battery or input latency or The worst one is stick drift because they don't use the traditional potentiometer analog modules instead they use hall effect analog stick modules to completely eliminate stick drift

But it's still shocks me people don't use Xbox controllers as a wired controller which is the best way to experience Xbox gaming especially if You play by yourself with your online buddies It's better to use a wired controller

However I know there are certain circumstances some people can't do that due to their lifestyle sometimes they may have a lot of things going on in their life so they just prefer to play their games with a wireless controller

As for me I'm sticking to wired controllers And I've been using a wired controller since the original Xbox days I basically use one wired controller for each Xbox console generation And I will do the same when they release the 10th gen Xbox console

That's pretty cool I'm not gonna lie I hope to God and Jesus Asha Sharma Actually does well as the new Xbox CEO unlike the previous Xbox CEO Phil Spencer he went downhill really bad after Xbox Series XS was released in 2020 he stopped caring about player feedback and completely ignored the most user complaints such as not letting us download the Xbox One version on the Series XS instead he came up with a lame excuse saying that it's a developer feature it's not forced on players yet smart delivery has become the most hated feature on the Series XS simply because it's a storage nightmare There are times I prefer to download The Xbox One version so that way it can run better on the Series XS But you can't That's the problem it forces you to download the Series XS version taking up so much unnecessary space when I could be using it for other games that's only playable on the Series XS

so instead what I did was I had to hook up my Xbox One X back to my room and bought a external HDMI switcher with 5 extra HDMI ports I plugged it into HDMI 1 then I redownloaded games that support Smart delivery directly on my Xbox One X in order to play them I was finally able to free up so much space on my Series X which also allowed me to play Resident Evil Requiem It's by far the best RE game I have ever played

But I truly believe Xbox Series can become truly successful if Asha Sharma Actually listen to player feedback and let us opt out of smart delivery The feature doesn't need to be removed she just needs to let us opt out of it because there are some people who actually like smart delivery but not me I see it as a anti-consumer friendly feature and a storage nightmare I guarantee once they give us the option to opt out of smart delivery You will see people will start buying the Series XS and console sales will start booming significantly and possibly outsell the PS5 because at some point the Series S did actually outsell the PS5 including the Series X almost outsold the PS5

But unfortunately Xbox Series console sales have not been that successful for two reasons The first reason is the ridiculous console price increase and the second reason is the smart delivery those two reasons is a serious bottleneck towards the Series XS success

Most of them I don't even play except for Battlefield Hardline it was one of my favorite games that was so unnecessarily severely hated by the BF community for no apparent reason they are a bunch of scumbags All they care about is the boring boots on the ground soldier experience from BF4 But as soon as they released something innovative like hardline they got extremely butt hurt and claiming it's unrealistic and not a true BF experience which they are 100% wrong The gameplay still retains the popular BF experience they simply reinvented the idea of playing as a cop and robbers instead of a soldier not every game needs to have freaking soldiers in it instead I loved the idea of the cops and robbers it was such a nice breath of fresh air I eventually stopped playing Hardline because it was getting harder to find a full lobby and because of people went back to BF4 I got bored of that game It's so played out never understood the ridiculous nostalgia of it The only BF games I play quite often is BF1 BF5 and BF 2042 which are significantly massively better than the boring BF6 it felt like it was killzone 3 all over again The reason why I say that is because killzone 2 was truly innovative but people didn't like it they wanted the boring killzone 1 gameplay so they brought it back with killzone 3 and it felt so extremely outdated Just like BF6 brought back the boring BF4 experience instead of the 2042 experience which I like better It's much more fun and addictive to play anyway the one thing that really disappointed me was epic games removing Fortnite festival battle stage and ballistic they were so much fun to play but they never bothered to improve them It's even more sad they are removing rocket racing at that point Fortnite popularity is going downhill really bad There has to be a way to remove Tim Sweeney because he clearly is completely out of touch what gamers want

Re: Eight Xbox Games Are Currently Set To Be Delisted In April & May 2026

Commander91_YT

@smoreon there's no such thing as the death of physical media that does not exist even though certain game publishers have attempted to make their games digital only and tried to come up with the lamest excuse for doing it such as Alan Wake 2 and Hellblade 2 But it severely backfired those games sold poorly within the digital storefronts this really goes to show physical games still matter and it will only die out if the 10th gen Xbox or the PlayStation 6 does not have a Blu-ray drive however they will still likely have a built-in Blu-ray drive because there still thousands of gamers who still buy physical games if they ever stop supporting physical games it will mark the end of console gaming as we know it

Re: Eight Xbox Games Are Currently Set To Be Delisted In April & May 2026

Commander91_YT

@RBRTMNZ Yes you should be worried This is why owning a physical copy will always be superior than owning a digital copy of the game because due to the evil scheme of the DRM policy You don't actually own digital games the more people realize that the more it will convince you to support physical games You are basically renting digital games for as long as you want but the company has every right to revoke your digital license at any time without no prior notice Just look what happened to the crew game it was delisted and completely erased from our digital library which is why it's a good thing I own the physical version Even though I can't play it anymore but I still own the physical copy and I can still download the game but it won't connect to Ubisoft server instead you'll just be gazing at the Epic music of the start menu

Re: 'Voila, 920GB Of Extra Storage' - Xbox Fan Turns Their 1TB Expansion Card Into A PC SSD

Commander91_YT

Wow so I was right all along This pretty much confirms Microsoft lied to us after doing tons of research about the Xbox storage expansion cards they are literally a standard PCIE Gen 3 NVMe SSD But what Microsoft did was they made it so that The storage expansion card is only recognized by the Xbox velocity architecture on Xbox Series consoles but the technology on the storage expansion card itself is not actually proprietary It's a straight up lie from Microsoft and convinced people that the storage expansion card only supports the Xbox velocity architecture but this pretty much proves they were wrong since someone actually made it recognized on their PC without using any modifications Even though Microsoft said the Xbox storage expansion card will not work on Windows PC because it requires the Xbox velocity architecture for it to function And even claimed the storage expansion card is proprietary But this article just proved Microsoft wrong instead why couldn't they simply take advantage of the standard PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD?

Just like the PS5 literally uses the standard PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD inside the expansion slot which according to official benchmarks the loading speeds are significantly faster than the Xbox storage expansion cards which is held back by the PCIE Gen 3 speed limitation

This is why Microsoft is losing respect from their own fanbase especially I find it ridiculous You can't play Xbox Series optimized games with an external PCIE NVMe SSD because they locked it with a special partition that can only be created between an official storage expansion card and the Series XS consoles SMH

This is why PS5 Will be successful in the long run because Western digital just released an official 8TB external PCIE Gen 4 NVMe SSD for PS5 unlike Xbox storage expansion card they have only released a 4TB Seagate storage expansion card And according to WD they say that the 8TB storage expansion card won't happen until 2028 or further down the line due to Microsoft's storage expansion card proprietary policy and it has to be officially approved by Microsoft and that is why I choose to play my 9th gen only games on PS5 and they take significantly less space on file size Plus I bought the official WD black 8TB PCIE Gen 4 NVMe SSD for PS5 And I'm pretty much set for the rest of my life I have plenty of space to download PS5 games now which will allow me to enjoy the latest games that can only be played on the Series XS and PS5

Sorry Xbox but it's your fault for forcing me to play the latest games on PS5 even though I prefer to play them on the Series X oh well your loss and please forgive me for writing this comment I just had to get it out of my chest

Re: 'The Game Is Running On Consoles' - Samson Dev Hints At Potential Xbox Version

Commander91_YT

If it's from the creator of Just Cause then I'm definitely buying it Just by looking at photos of the gameplay it really does look like a mix of driver watch dogs and GTA hopefully they don't use the Unreal Engine 5 because so far I have not been impressed with its performance they should build their own game engine for this game which will allow them to fully optimize this game

Re: Playground Games Says Ditching Xbox One Will Help Forza Horizon 6's Post-Launch Plans

Commander91_YT

To be honest I'm okay with that I knew for a fact the next Forza Horizon game was going to be made only for the 9th gen consoles for Xbox Series XS PlayStation 5 and Windows 10/11 it was about time they moved away from the Xbox One hardware Don't get me wrong playing card games could have easily made it possible but at this point the Series XS and PS5 are already 5 years and 4 months old as much as I want them to support Xbox One But it's time to move on I'm pretty much happy with the content they have provided for Horizon 5 premium Edition I'll still be playing it for a long time on the One X I know someone is going to tell me why I don't have Horizon 5 download it on the Series X And I will tell you why it's because it takes way too much space and I need the extra space for Horizon 6 so I really don't mind playing Horizon 5 at 30 FPS And it's one of the very few Xbox One games that has a perfect frame pacing with zero stutter I just hope that Horizon 6 does not take 100 GB because that's going to be a major problem for me

Re: Hellblade 2 Will Remain At 30FPS On Xbox Series S, Reveals Microsoft

Commander91_YT

I am honestly not even mad or disappointed or not even surprised because Hellblade 2 is one of those games that doesn't even need 60 FPS

this game is designed to be a fully immersive cinematic movie anyone who is seriously obsessed with playing cinematic games at 60 FPS needs to be seriously checked out by a neurologist because something is definitely wrong with you

I just don't understand why some gamers are obsessed with playing every single game at 60 FPS when in reality some games don't even need it because they are designed to be a 30 FPS cinematic experience and I really don't mind playing console games at 30 FPS besides console games have always been 30 FPS for two reasons the controller input is not as fast as a keyboard and mouse so 30 FPS works perfectly

as for the second reason most open world / semi-open world games usually always run at 30 FPS in order to make the game as visually detailed as possible in order to attract gamers into buying the game and it works all the time unfortunately some gamers don't see it that way they just care about wanting to play every console game at 60 FPS or higher if that's all you really care about please go play on PC it's the best platform to play all of your games at 60 FPS or higher and let us console gamers enjoy our 30 FPS games also before you criticize me for not experiencing 60 FPS believe me when I say this I often play a lot of 60 FPS games such as Call of Duty Battlefield Splitgate 2 War thunder Warframe Fortnite Marvel Rivals far cry 4 / 5/6/new Dawn AC unity and above Halo Gears of War Apex Legends battlefront 1/2 reboot and so many others I lost count and yet I often go back to 30 FPS games such as destiny 2 because it's one of those games 60 FPS is not really needed because it's a massive open world MMO RPG game and I'm okay with playing the game at 30 FPS

So please don't take this comment negatively this is just how I feel

Re: A Bunch Of Xbox Games Are Closing Their Servers In 2024

Commander91_YT

This is why I hate live service games they are a curse and bad for the gaming industry the publishers just do not understand how bad it is people who defend live service games has the lowest IQ brain they have no idea how bad it is affecting online multiplayer gaming treating games as a service needs to go bye-bye permanently I had so many fun memories with Tom Clancy's splinter Cell conviction co-op mode including the crew was tons of fun on Xbox 360 Xbox One and PS4 version yes I own three physical copies of them including splinter Cell conviction so I will still have access to the single player campaign mode but they should make the crew campaign playable offline it makes no sense why it has to be played online the direction of online gaming is becoming worse than we thought this is why I am 100% against purchasing digital games because you do not own it you are actually renting it until the publisher decide to delist the game and make it unplayable you people need to go back to purchasing physical games I do not care how convenient it is to have a digital library the same thing can be done if you have a CD holder like I do it can hold up to 1000 CDs and I have hundreds of physical games between Xbox 360 PS3 Xbox One PS4 Xbox Series X PS5 and Nintendo Wii U they are still in perfect condition that's all I'm going to say.

Re: Ubisoft Ending Online Services For Three Xbox 360 Titles Early Next Year

Commander91_YT

Never really cared for Assassin's Creed multiplayer mode they were interesting fun little past time but they were never good in longevity but shutting down the server for splinter cell conviction on Xbox 360? That is a step Ubisoft has gone too far even today people still play conviction since Ubisoft refuse to make a new splinter cell game I guess maintaining active servers cost money and yet these publishers talk about they care about game preservation haha yeah right that is a boatload of lies
