You have quite a point there, but the difference between Microsoft and Nintendo is (at least for me), that Nintendo offers many exclusive games which offer experiences, you can't really get on any of the other consoles. So, while Nintendo managed to really **** up the Wii U launch and failed to show to customers what's special about the Wii U, they are in a position, where they don't really have to blow you away (if you're a fan of their games at least). You're buying a Nintendo console for the Nintendo games and another for the third party support. As it looks now, it will be the PS4 for me (though I'll wait what Microsoft has to show on E3 of course), which is also because I'm more into Sonys exclusives than Microsofts.
