I've been playing on the Series S, had only a few crashes, maybe two or three. Some bugs here or there. I am excited about the FSR 3. Is it going to support that on the consoles as well? I wonder if it would put a 60 FPS mode on the table, for the Series X at least. I'm totally happy with performance on the Series S at 30 FPS, but the possibilities are exciting.
It's sad, but not surprising. It's not a recognizable IP. The genre isn't too mainstream. The developer isn't a household name. The setting is not really popular. I'm happy the game exists, and I am truly enjoying it. But I'm playing it through Gamepass. Would I have bought it right now? With all the fire games that have recently come out? Probably not.
After just an hour of playing, I like the driving. Turned off brake assist, that was quite an adjustment, but I barely felt like I had to do anything but turn otherwise. Driving feels good. Can't wait to dig into it, although I'll be taking it slow, given all the other games I have to play right now (Starfield, Lamplighter's League, a ton of games dropping on PS Plus).
Enjoying the game, haven't experienced any crashes or corruptions yet, knock on wood. It's the game that finally broke the choke hold Starfield had on my gaming time. A nice X-com style game, without as much base management, but still having a lot of difficult choices in developing your team. Never enough resources to do everything you want. Character skills trees have notcieable impacts on their performance in combat. Lots of tactical flexibility so far. Definitely worth a try if you have Gamepass. But like the article says, may be safer to wait for a couple more updates.
The prologue was fun. FPS on Series S did not limit my enjoyment. We'll see how it holds up in further missions. WIth Gotham Knights, Lamplighters League and Starfield, this is a bit low on the priority list of playing for me right now.
10/10 from me. But I am unabashedly a huge fan of Bethesda games. Totally understand it won't be a 10/10 for many. But I am savoring every moment I play, and will be playing this for a very, very long time. After 50 plus hours, I can say it is my favorite Bethesda game, and I am a huge Elder Scrolls fan. It's my favorite game, full stop. Everything I could have hoped for.
@Fiendish-Beaver Looks like you are a big fan. I'm looking forward to playing splitscreen with my daughters. Sadly, in separate games, lol. Also playing solo. All on my PS5. Probably won't get it day one, much to my daughters' dismay, due to the fact it is coming out for the PS5 on the same day as Starfield. I'm a huge Bethesda fanboy, so priorities.
@Fiendish-Beaver Local splitscreen only supports two players. Which is impressive enough, and clearly where the issue lies with the Series S. It's almost certainly a memory issue, given that the CPUs are very close to each other. Series S is probably struggling storing two instances of the gamespace at one time. I think it is an edge case overall.

My favorite game of all time. So yeah, totally exceeded my expectations. Which were high. Grateful to have it and play it.

@Ep_13 Series S made it possible for me to have an Xbox to go with my PS5 and Switch.
