Two 'Day One' Games Are Available Today Across Xbox And PC Game Pass (July 17)

It's been a busy old week for new Xbox Game Pass additions, with games literally arriving on the service across every single day, and we're finishing off on Friday with two "day one" releases across the Xbox and PC Game Pass tiers.

Before we get to them though, we also want to bring your attention to MAVRIX - a downhill biking game that joined XGP on Thursday but we didn't get around to highlighting it separately. We've covered that one in more detail in the past:

Let's get onto these two new "Day One" additions for Friday, then! FixForce is the first of them, serving as a co-op extraction platformer for up to six players in which you build towers and paths out of scrap parts on a worksite. It's only been out for a few hours and already has a "Positive" rating on Steam, while the first professional review we've found for it comes from Xbox Tavern - they gave it a 7.8/10 score.

The second game is Fogpiercer, which is unfortunately exclusive to PC for now. It's a turn-based deckbuilder roguelite where you have to build a train and take part in tactical battles as you progress through a bandit-infested world. Fogpiercer is set to release at around 11am / 2pm EDT 7pm BST later today, and we've spotted a couple of 7/10 reviews for it already from The Wand Report and Checkpoint Gaming.
