The Halo Support team has announced that a new backend update has been deployed to its Easy Anti-Cheat efficiency program in The Master Chief Collection, resulting in a "significant ban wave" for the Halo collection on Xbox and PC.
This was announced by the team on social media late last night, where it's noted that this doesn't require any sort of local download for Halo: MCC players. This is simply a stealth update, and the team is encouraging folks to continue reporting cheaters and the like via its official website.
Although this is a smaller update for The Master Chief Collection, it's certainly a welcome one - the more hackers and cheaters removed from these online games (especially ones like Halo), the better. This also follows a more substantial update back in February which updated 'The Exchange' within Halo: MCC.
We'll drop a link to our coverage that last update down below - and yep, we hope you enjoy your fair fighting in Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Xbox and PC!
