Capcom Is Bringing The First Two Monster Hunter Stories Games To Xbox In 2025

This is great because I haven't played any of these games and I was thinking of getting MH3 for Xbox if it turns out to be good. Looks like the older games have good reviews. Hoping I can play at least one before 3 launches.

Is it going to be a collection or 2 individual games or both?

This is a dream come true, hopefully we get Mega Man Battle Network and The Great Ace Attorney on Xbox at some point

Too late for these ports and not even a discounted pack. It's cool we are getting Stories 3 on day one I guess.

@Nighto4 It is discounted lol, you can get Monster Hunter Stories 1 and 2 together for $35, whereas the normal price is $60

I'm happy about Xbox basically getting everything. I saw the thumbnail on my phone while walking and for a second I thought it was something about Banjo-Kazooie. 😂

Took so long they should just put them on game pass at this point. I still want to play them tho!

@Kaloudz yeah but the gameplay is completely different. I loved the demo for 2. I’m not a big fan of the normal monster hunter games tho.

@jesse_dylan When you say the gameplay is different, do you mean the core loop of killing monsters > getting loot > killing bigger monsters? Etc...

@Kaloudz I mean it's a turn-based RPG with a storyline and rock/paper/scissors combat that is way more compelling than it sounds. I really loved the demo but never took the plunge. I will on Xbox (although I might wait until it's not $5 more than the PS and Switch versions, cause wtf)

@jesse_dylan Yeah pricing has always annoyed me for digital games. Same as returns. It's such a bonkers system that needs better regulating. Thanks for the lowdown though bud, I'll download it and give it a smash after E33.
