It's been a couple of years now since Major Nelson (real name Larry Hryb) left Xbox after spending two decades with the brand, but he's still active on social media - and his latest post is all about the Xbox 360's 20th anniversary.

With the exact date of that anniversary coming up on November 22nd, Major Nelson showed off his custom Xbox 360 that was gifted to him as part of the launch, noting that he's never turned it on.

Here's a look at the post along with a full-sized image:

"Later this month marks the 20th anniversary of kicking off the HD era with the launch of Xbox 360. Helping build, ship and launch this console was one of the most magical professional moments of my career. Here, for the first time...are photos of my launch console that each team member received as a thank you. Fun fact: I have NEVER turned this console on."

In the comments, many people pointed out that the console would likely suffer the Red Ring of Death if it was turned on in 2025, so they're encouraging Major Nelson to avoid doing so! However, others have pointed out that it's a rare Xbox 360 that still boots into the "Blades" dashboard, so that might make it worth a try anyway.

For what it's worth, Larry was asked which game he'd play on the system first if he had a choice, with one commenter suggesting Halo 3 would be a good option, but his response was Hexic - a puzzle game that launched for free with the system in 2005. That's a blast from the past!
