It's time for the Xbox Shocktober Sale 2025! This year's version of the sale includes a list of over 200 discounted games, plenty of which are major AAA titles, including some recent releases such as Hell is Us and Killing Floor 3.
Below, we've included just some of the major highlights from the Xbox Summer Sale 2025. If you want to see the full list, you'll find it in the "Deals" section of the Microsoft Store on your Xbox console under the "Shocktober Sale" heading, and it's also available to view on the "Shocktober Sale" page on the official Xbox website.
And by the way, this isn't the only new sale that's gone live today! There's also a Rockstar Games sale along with an Xbox Play Anywhere indie sale - it's well worth browsing the "Deals" section on your Xbox to see all the new discounts.

Is little nightmares 3 on the sale saw article saying it was gunna be other day
Can anyone recommend Dying Light 2: Stay Human?
I loved the first one but the second one appeared to have a lot of bugs when first released. I know they have updated alot, is this game now in a playable state without mission breaking bugs? this game appears to be a game you either love or hate and some reviews have stopped me buying in the past.
I can strongly recommend Dying Light 2, @johnK. I last played it through a year or so ago on my Series X, having played it solo when it first released, and don't recall any bugs at all. It is a fun game, and indeed, you can play through it twice if you want to see the two different sets of tools that gives you by siding with a different faction in each playthrough...
I've said it before, and I'll say it again, but don't sleep on Hell Is Us. I really enjoyed the game. I enjoyed the combat and exploration, and it has some very challenging puzzles as you go through, though I have to admit that I had to look up the solutions twice during my first playthrough...
Dead Island 2 Ultimate Edition is a steal at this price!
@Decimateh Bizarrely not. I don't know what's going on with that, but it's definitely not on sale at the time of writing.

Control Ultimate Edition at £3.49 is an absolute steal.
For me it's gonna be Alan wake 2.

@Fiendish-Beaver Yeah it's live, but I don't think it's showing up on the Microsoft Store (on console) yet for whatever reason.
