We've already talked about the array of Xbox Free Play Days titles that are available this weekend, including the Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 beta, but another one you might have missed is an open beta for the new Virtua Fighter!

Specifically, this is for Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage, which is bringing its updated take on Virtua Fighter 5 to Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S on October 30th for the low price of just £15.99 / $19.99.

The open beta for this is live as we speak, and you've got until October 6th to enjoy it:

SEGA's plan for this open beta is to test out cross-platform play, with the goal of analysing "online match functionality and identifying any issues ahead of release".

There's some great stuff packed into this game, including a World Stage single-player mode (although we don't think that's part of the beta), rollback netcode support and new replay features, so go and give it a try for yourself!

We'll leave more details about Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage down below:

"The pioneer 3D fighting series continues to evolve as Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage arrives on Xbox Series X|S. Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage takes the gameplay of Virtua Fighter 5 to new heights:

Rollback Netcode and Cross-play support let you take on any challenger, anywhere, across the globe in the most intense battles yet. A brand-new single-player mode, "World Stage": Challenge powerful rivals on a solo quest to become the ultimate fighter. Enhanced replay functionality and improved training tools."
