Just in case you hadn't been keeping up, it's NBA 2K26 day! Well... it's not technically NBA 2K26 day if we're counting the official release date of September 5th, but early access begins today for the more expensive versions.
Simply put, if you buy either the Superstar Edition (£89.99 / $99.99) or Leave No Doubt Edition (£129.99 / $149.99) of NBA 2K26 on the Xbox Store, you'll be able to start playing in just a couple of hours' time.
The release time for NBA 2K26 on Xbox is 9am PT / 12pm ET / 5pm BST (on August 29th).
As usual, we're expecting NBA 2K26 to dominate the Xbox charts over the next calendar year, and especially over the next few weeks as early access transitions into the full release and attracts millions of players in the process.
This year's game doesn't have any reviews at the time of writing, but the feature list has been well documented - including new ProPLAY gameplay improvements, a new streamlined City alongside the new MyCareer story, and more.
