Darksiders 4 is cool, but not much to say about the teaser trailer itself.

Pretty sure we already had a teaser for DS4?? How silly

But SpongeBob and Gothic look excellent. I’ll surely get the classic collection as well!

I'm a little disappointed in Darksiders 4. I was hoping for a Strife solo game and THEN picking up with War's (DS1's) ending With Darksiders 5 to finish the series. Hard to tell just from that, but it'd be odd if the game is a Strife solo when the teaser is the line War had at the end of DS1 when they were all coming.

I was REALLY hoping we'd see some more about TMNT: The Last Ronin. It's been awhile since that was announced and that's most definitely my most anticipated game from THQ right now.

Still, that disappointment aside, this had a lot of cool stuff to show. The original Gothic trilogy getting a console port? Did NOT expect that. Darksiders 4 skipping Strife's solo outing is... a choice, but I hope this game is good. I almost picked up Sacred 2 during the Xbox summer sale, so to see this is amusing too..

@WildConcept6 Darksiders Genesis predominantly covered Strife. It is stated as co-op and can pick any of the 4 characters, so this one looks to be a 4-player co-op back to the 3rd person combat.

Disappointed that Darksiders 4 won't be a solo outing for Strife.

That said, as a big fan of the series, with the Collector's Editions for each sat behind me as I type, I will be getting this game day one...

@Trmn8r Yeah but Darksidees Genesis was a prequel (like prequel prequel). After DS1 with War, we had gotten a solo game with everyone else (Death and Fury) that focused on what they were doing adjacent to DS1 and how that'd build up to a final conclusion. Throughout all the games we were given massive hints about Strife's goings ons that to me really hyped up the prospect of a game that'd do the same for Strife (focus on what he was doing alone adjacent to the events of DS1). I even remember when after the first teaser for Darksiders 4 (many moons ago) how all the forums and gaming sites were theory crafting about Strife's action gameplay and what his plot would be from all the clues in the other games and everything. I remember them mouth watering over rumors that Strife would play like DANTE from Devil May Cry. It's just unfortunate that they'd not do for Strife what they did for every other horse(wo)man.

@WildConcept6 well at least we get another game. Maybe they'll explore him some more in this one for those who didn't play the prequel. The co-op is appealing.

the original sacred 2 on Xbox 360 is pretty awesome. playing the gothic stuff could be fun I imagine.

Darksiders 4 will do nicely. DS3 was wonderful, so I certainly hope they follow that blueprint.

I like the sound of the Gothic Trilogy, but I'm excited for most of them

Did Sacred 2 really look all that bad to begin with? I played it not too long ago and thought it held up pretty well.

Gothic Remaster looking incredible.

Darksiders lost me after the first one. Everything they've done between the end of 1 and now has been a total waste of time and they lost me as a fan. Looks like maybe they're finally making what Darksiders 2 should have been, wonder if there's any hype left for it. It's Gunfire though, so I might have to play it just to get a fix before they hopefully give us Remnant 3 someday.
