Best Buy Lists Prices For ROG Xbox Ally Before Quickly Removing Them

This week has been hectic for ROG Xbox Ally news! Yesterday, prior to the Xbox Gamescom 2025 broadcast, a reliable leaker shared the US prices for both ROG Xbox Ally handhelds, but then Microsoft chose not to announce them.

Why? Well, the company says "the macro-economic climate is challenging" right now and more time is needed to figure out a final price, but it seems that leak was correct - as Best Buy listed the same prices for a few hours yesterday.

Best Buy specifically listed the ROG Xbox Ally price as $549.99 and the ROG Xbox Ally X price as $899.99, while also having a 100W Charger Dock for $99.99 and a case for $69.99. Here's a look:

However, a few hours later, the prices for the ROG Xbox Ally were removed on the Best Buy website (they were actually changed to $9.999.00 for a time), although the Charger Dock and case have been unaffected.

So, what does this tell us? It probably tells us that Microsoft was very close to announcing the prices for the system yesterday, but the company has had a last-minute change of heart. Will the prices now change as a result? That's what we're fascinated to find out over the next few weeks, and here's hoping we get more news sooner rather than later.

Assuming the prices stay the same, how do you feel about them right now? Tell us in the comments below.
