Anyone up for playing a new Chicken Run game on Xbox this October?!

Well, we're getting one in the form of Chicken Run: Eggstraction, which is a new co-op adventure title that promises to bring us "stealth with a twist" - the twist being that it's made up of silly ways to camouflage yourself, such as hiding in bins, disguising yourself as a traffic cone, or simply "legging it in a full-blown panic".

As you can see, this is a top-down experience rather than the 3D style of the old Chicken Run PS1 game that you might remember from 2000, but it seems to follow a similar premise in terms of how it plays. Essentially, the goal is to "sneak, scurry & scramble" your way around "five tantalizingly treacherous fortified farms".

And yes, there's (local) co-op support in Chicken Run: Eggstraction, meaning you can team up with a friend to solve puzzles and work together to escape - or potentially ruin their escape plan instead. Depends how mean you're feeling!

Finally, we should mention that this game has quite the cast - Bella Ramsey of 'The Last of Us' fame is joined by YouTube star Amelia Dimoldenberg, UK comedian Romesh Ranganathan and others.

We'll leave you with more details about Chicken Run: Eggstraction below, which has a release date of October 24th, 2025 for Xbox. A free demo is also now available on Steam, but unfortunately it's not on Xbox at the time of writing.

Stealth, silliness, and a whole lot of chaos! Scurry and scramble your way to freedom in this co-op adventure set in the Chicken Run universe.

Take control of Molly, Rocky, Frizzle and the gang as they sneak, scurry & scramble through five tantalizingly treacherous fortified farms to liberate captured chickens. But don’t count your chicks until they’re hatched – you’ll need to outwit bumbling security, dodge watchful CCTV, and topple an army of loopy poultry villains.
