Two New Black Ops 7 Game Modes Leaked Via Call Of Duty Xbox App

There's been a lot of buzz in the Call of Duty community over the past few hours thanks to an accidental leak from Activision on the CoD Xbox app, revealing a bunch of images along with two new game modes for Black Ops 7.

Basically, a message was pushed out to the app containing details of an internal playtest taking place this weekend. The playtest apparently includes a 20v20 Skirmish mode along with a 6v6 Overload mode, as detailed down below:

It seems these game modes were intended to be announced as part of Black Ops 7's full reveal later this summer, as until now we hadn't had any specific multiplayer details aside from that it's a "signature Multiplayer experience packed with brand-new maps".

"Prepare to squad up with friends or play solo in a thrilling and innovative Co-op Campaign, harness near-future weaponry in a signature Multiplayer experience packed with brand-new maps and descend into the next twisted chapter of Round-Based Zombies in the heart of the Dark Aether."

We'll have a lot more to talk about whenever the full reveal does take place, most likely around August time. Black Ops 7 doesn't have a release date yet either, but we're assuming it's going to land in late October or November - depending on whether Xbox wants to add a fourth first-party game to its lineup for October 2025 or not!
