The Xbox Games Showcase was packed full of interesting announcements for the coming months on the platform, but what about stuff you can get stuck into in the here and now? Well, thankfully, Microsoft treated us to a couple of freebies last night in the form of two major demos that are now live on the Xbox Store!
One of those is for Square Enix's Final Fantasy XVI, which was announced as part of a major FF segment during last night's Xbox showcase. The other demo that went live yesterday evening was for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4, which fellow Pure Xbox staffer Fraser has of course already checked out!
We'll chuck links to these two new Xbox demos down below:
- Final Fantasy XVI Demo (Xbox Store) - 15GB
- Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 Foundry Demo (Xbox Store) - 19GB
It's worth noting that the Tony Hawk demo is for pre-orders and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members only, while the Final Fantasy 16 demo is available to all Xbox users. We've included their rough download sizes on Xbox Series X up above, so you know what sort of installs you're getting into here.
One other thing we want to mention before we head out, is that the Gears of War: Reloaded beta will make this three for three in terms of Xbox demos in the coming days. Developer The Coalition has announced that pre-orders and GPU members will be able to access the beta across two upcoming weekends - we'll throw our dedicated post on that and all of the timings down below.
