Starfield And Hi-Fi RUSH Nominated For Multiple D.I.C.E. Awards

I'm still playing Starfield daily, my personal 2023 GOTY. Haven't even finished all the stories and exploring and stuff after 150h playing, just wow. And at AU$160 total cost, what a bargain price per hour for HQ next-gen graphics entertainment. Happy with it, so hope it wins

@SAHgamer yeah am loving it too. Have only got around 50 or so hrs put in though. Can't wait to finish it and play again in NG+ just to experience all the weirdness that can happen 😀.
Apparently some guy did NG+ 30 times and eventually he met himself as a char in the game. He walked into the meeting where you use the first artifact and his other self was already there interacting with the other NPC 😀.
Even more strange is that his other self and the NPCs reacted to him like ...'umm who are you and wth you doing here?'. 😆.

Lol, NG+ 30x is way too much. I'm just planning on very maybe starting a NG+ run when the Shattered Space DLC releases, for which it may be beneficial to be in NG+ for it. But it could also be the opposite, beneficial to be in my original space with all the main missions + companion + side activities completed. Will have to wait and see

Picked starfield back up and it has sucked me back in. Mostly trying to get outposts optimized so when I figure that out I’ll go on a few power runs. Want to save a ng or two for shattered space as I am hoping if it doesn’t upend the story or functionality of the game (for lore reasons) I’ll go through it twice or so. Really looking forward to DLC but I really wish you could get or loot more clothes. Seems weird I am in the vanguard but don’t have a dress uniform. Or the cool suits ryujin wear. Obviously Bethesda scaled back the “take everything that isn’t nailed down” aspect of their games but sometimes it feels a little too scaled back.

Starfield let me down terrible the pet rock is still there and the final mission is glitched so I can't complete the game just done with it now I am not going back

@themightyant also important to note while almost all big awards are American the BAFTAs are british/european which sets those apart a lot too.

Starfield deserves recognition for it's audio. The way the reverb and gun sounds change depending on environment was pretty good... and controversially, better than Jedi Survivor which was mostly just too loud lightsabers and blaster sounds.... there i said it

@Kaloudz There is no official GoTY organization. DICE, I believe, is more highly regarded than TGA. Multiple outlets and organizations have their own awards committees.

@TestXboxUser Spiderman 2 is my personal GOTY. Alan Wake 2 an Zelda are great, i haven’t played Baldur’s Gate an likely won’t unless it hits Game Pass or PS+. I hate turn based combat, it’s boring!! I want combat to involve me actually fighting an dodging an beating people up! Like in Spiderman 2! Not i hit you, you hit me, i hit you, you hit me, i hit you, i win!! How many fights ya ever seen like that???

@Sifi and Starfield was dubbed the biggest letdown game. All that hype, all those delays, and a very average game releases!! They told us it would blow our minds!! They told us it would be as good as Playstation exclusives!! They lied!!
