Summer Game Fest has officially kicked off and the first reveal of the night is a brand-new Prince of Persia title! Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is a whole new entry in the series, coming to Xbox consoles on January 18, 2024.
We've dropped the reveal trailer for this surprise announcement up above, and here's a brief summary of what to expect from the title in early 2024:
"Dash into a stylish and thrilling action-adventure platformer set in a mythological Persian world where the boundaries of time and space are yours to manipulate. Play as Sargon and evolve from sword-wielding prodigy to extraordinary legend as you master acrobatic combat and unlock new Time Powers and unique super abilities."
The Lost Crown isn't to be confused with Ubisoft's ongoing remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time - that one is still delayed indefinitely for now. We'll definitely take a brand-new entry in the meantime though! You can catch more Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown action during the Ubisoft Forward showcase on June 12.
