Nacon Announces Five New Games, All Expected To Release On Xbox

Warning people not to bother with the Terminator games on Xbox as the developer didn't support it very well.

Where as on PS it got a current gen update and expansion. Not worth paying the same for less or risk of abandonment.

@Geezer I heard that it basically didn't sell on Xbox and lost money, and they only made a profit from the sales on Playstation, so it makes sense to spend the time, effort and money supporting where the user base actually is. They never promised an expansion and next gen update for xbox. You got the product they sold, you didn't lose anything, and they aren't a charity.

@HeroYoshiko Well it just means that people won't be buying future games from them on Xbox.

@Kaloudz That whole period has been played to death and isn't much interesting in the mythology of the time. Dirty peasants with no teeth living in huts made of cow poop, mud and straw. Some rich lords and some snooty better than thou knights getting rowdy in the pub and trying to make out with any women in sight. Yeah Robbin hood, but, it's pretty played out. Like Zombies and spaghetti westerns.

@Geezer Do what you want. But going through life thinking people owe you something for free, just because, you're going to get a lot more disappointed.

@Kaloudz haha nice. I grew up no far from Sherwood Forest and spend many winter holidays playing about castle ruins. So I might be a bit over exposed

@HeroYoshiko Everyone wants to be treated the same no matter what platform they use.

People did actually pay for the game on Xbox it certainly wasn't free. It was exactly the same price as on PS, so yes players deserved the same support on Xbox.

The game wasn't that good so it's the developer that will loose out on future sales on Xbox. Not bothered as plenty of other games that get the same support across multiple platforms.

If a survival game based in the Terminator world turns out to be rubbish then that's a big missed opportunity.

@Geezer Seeing as no one bought it on xbox anyway, what sales are they losing? With sales looking they way they are on the platform, I should imagine a few other smaller studios will need to make tough decisions about which platforms they support over the coming years. These studios have limited resources and need to target their limited resources to support the markets that pay the bills. Whilst fixes should be rolled out to all platforms, its perfectly reasonable to restrict further development to the platforms where you have a viable audience.
